The Chalets were designed and built by the game farm owner, Werner Koster, who exclusively used local poplars and stone for their construction. The rustic décor is completed with slate floors, hand made furniture and wood finishes.Stylishly decorated, each chalet sleeps four with an en suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and own private braai (barbeque) facility.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, albeit it only overnight! We plan on revisiting and staying for a day or 2. Our hosts were lovely and their staff very friendly and accommodating. Our dogs and parrot were welcomed, and we enjoyed the wildlife in the camp.

Excellent stay always. Most friendly people. Lots of animals even during drought conditions. Plenty to do. I have stayed here for business and pleasure and it is always nice. Close to Beaufort West but also tucked away under the mountains.

The family stayed over on our way back to Gauteng. The facilities and location was excellent and it was a pity that, due to our planning, we arrived relatively late and departed early morning. There was at least time for a swim but we would have loved to do the 4x4 route. We

As we drove up to the well hidden bush lodge (on a dirt road), we were met at the apex by three giraffes eating right in front of our camp! There are also free roaming warthog, dogs, parrots, giraffe, antelope and monkeys. What a beautiful gem just outside of Beaufort West.

We booked for a night on our way home from Cape Town. We did not sleep at all. There were things crawling at night in the chalet all over, the bed, floor and TV was covered with those insects. The towels were dirty, the dishes, everything.

Hi Mone I see your booking has come through for 2 chalets. Our chalets actually sleep 4, there are 2 x 3/4 beds downstairs and 2 x single beds on a mezzanine floor, accessed by a ladder so if you are happy with the open plan arrangement you would only need 1 chalet. Let me know how you feel about this, then you can cancel 1 chalet. Will wait to hear from you before I deduct the deposit. Kind regards Gail

"The rooms are all the same, but if you are reserving for more than 2 people, jut check that they can access the loft/attic area."
"The house nr7 is very nice, the terrace is offering views of the surrounding park and the bush!"
"All chalets seemed the same. They all opened up onto a lovely lush lawn."
"They all look good but higher numbers are further away from lapa etc."
"Stay more than one night and ask for a chalet at the far end of the field"
