Beautiful self-catering place just out of town. Lovely kitchen and great braai, we could not enjoy the braai as it was pouring with rain. The chalets are very cosy and clean. Little extra's makes this place so special. Braai wood, blitz, matches, doom, peaceful sleep, braai salt, salt are but a few extra special items not normally available. Lovely magazines... More

Really nice place, but don't miss the sign when you drive past. Very nice rooms and everything you need for a nights stay away from or going back home. Very close to town, so if you need anything it's just a quick jump to beaufort west and you are sorted. The staff is very helpful.

We were warmly welcomed by Gene and showed to our huge unit. Everything was clean and tidy and just felt welcoming. The linen was crisp and white. We traveled the 15km to the Karoo National Park and did not find it too far. All units have a lovely outside braai and everything you need. We we even asked if we... More

Wonderful place for a family to stay in the Karoo. We have two young boys traveling from Johannesburg to Cape Town. They have a great little kitchen, fridge and excellent braai area. It was clean with beautiful grounds. The owner was so nice and very accommodating. We will stay again.

We stayed Oct 2013 - we stayed over on our drive back home to JHB, the rooms were spacious and well equipped. Had a fridge with a freezer, great braai area, a full kitchen of appliances, everything you need. The rooms were comfortable and clean, I was surprised at the size of the unit. The pictures online are what you... More

We stopped over from the Cape to Gauteng and did not know really what to expect. Wow it was excellent - the complete unit is beautifully decorated and excellent hospitality. The only thing I regret is the fact that we couldn't make use of the nice braai area as we arrived too late. Next time I will make sure I... More

Spent a night there on our way back from a trip to see the flowers. Spotless accommodation with cotton sheets and duvets, aircons and electric blankets that we didn't need. Friendly owners and I will stop there next time we travel that way.

This place is perfect for a overnight stop. We paid R600 for a family of 4 and that is the best value accommodation I have ever stayed at. Aircon, fridge and DSTV are not expected at this price point. Well done on delivering more than was expected. The grounds are lovingly maintained and although the building's design can be described... More

Our overnight stay coincided with a cold front and extremely windy conditions. We could therefore not make use of the braai on the stoep. The electric blankets came in very handy in the adverse conditions. The unit was well equipped and very clean. The booking process and reception was top class. We missed the turnoff from the main road as... More
