Our party stayed here in November and had a fabulous time. The night safaris are awesome with great wildlife sightings including aardvarks & black footed cats. All the staff are great and the vegetarian food was amazing. A truly amazing place to stay if you want to get close to wildlife. The accommodation is really good but people expecting a...

I spent four nights at Marrick this month. The night drives were exceptional - a great leader and amazing wildlife - black-footed cats in abundance; 6 aardvarks including two boxing; South African hedgehogs; springhares; aardwolves; large-eared gerbil mouse; bat-eared foxes etc etc etc. Daytime drives were also great with lots of ungulates and birds. Everyone was really lovely, nothing was...

I had the pleasure of visiting Marricks in July. Not the best time to go on night drive, but no one in my party wanted to go, but some very kind English guests said that I could go along with them. It was great (and cold) my wish for the stay there was to see Ardvalk We did, also aardwolk,...

Many thanks to Trevor and the team at Marrick Safari for an unforgettable stay. We stayed in the main house on a self catering basis. We had two rooms with single beds and one double room. All rooms were spacious with plentiful storage and high ceilings. The double room had an en suite bathroom, but the other two rooms shared...

Marrick Safari provides an opportunity to view the rare Small Spotted Cat and the elusive Aardvark and Aardwolf on one of their night drives. The accommodation is rustic and comfortable. We self catered and everything was provided including wood for the fires. Trevor and Hubre are wonderful friendly hosts who will make sure that your every need is catered for....

I spent a couple of nights at Marrick maily for the chance of seeing the Aardvark during the night safari. The place is nice and clean, with a magical atmosphere (you were back at 1900, with big rooms and antique funiture). The food is great and the people are very friendly and helpful. On cold days (and I had one...)...

If you are staying here then you are probably here from the wildlife, like our group. The wildlife is great. We could watch nesting weavers from our window. The accommodation isn't so great. We were in the main quarters with interesting dining room and kitchen - all the amenities are there but they aren't modern. A little attention would make...

We spent a wonderful Christmas at Marrick. Trevor and his team were all so welcoming and made us feel like family. They went out their way to accommodate us and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the newly built camp-site, situated in the middle of the bush. The design of the place had clearly been well thought out...

Arrived in dark. About five people in office. One had to run out and get room more or less ready for visitors. Nobody offered to help with luggage. Room, especially carpet, not clean at all. Furniture and linen very run down. Not at all a positive experience

We are old African hands who have seen innumerable elephant, lion etc - still love seeing them, but we wanted to find some of the more elusive animals. Marrick was recommended and we did two night safaris there - both about 3-1/2 hrs in bitterly cold July weather, but we loved every minute. The highlights were Bat-eared Fox, Cape Porcupine,...
