This property is really next to the Kruger National Park gate. The viewing deck overlooks the park and we saw some elephants in the wild while having drinks in the afternoon. The staff are professional, friendly and very helpful. It's been great since the moment we checked in. Rooms: Spacious and comfortable. Bathroom shower has good water pressure and temperature....

We stayed here for two nights in mid-January. We had our own car and drove from Nelspruit Airport, it took about 2 hours to get to the hotel and the drive in was easy, no problems at all. The accommodation was pretty standard, similar to a best western in North America. The grounds were also nice, with a nice pool,...

This used to be our favourite hotel in South Africa and we were looking forward to our stay in early March. The setting for this hotel is really special and Protea have made the most of the location with a great decking area where you can enjoy the view of the Sabi river while sipping a refreshing drink. The evening...

Fairly modern and well kept resort near the Kruger Gate-5 minutes away. Good sized room, comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Must drive to eat elsewhere, but good lunch and breakfast on site and fair buffett in open air dining for dinner. Elevated viewing area with bar and massage room over looking the river. Heard, but did not see hippos...

The buffet was so bad that I left the restaurant and opted rather for room service (big mistake) the food was inedible not to mention I didn't get the food...

This is a hotel with an absolutely terrific location, close to the Kruger National Park and so convenient for early morning starts, as well as providing some great views into the park in the evening for hippo watchers. The staff of this hotel are very friendly. The food quality is good. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. It is good for family outing. It's quite safe I spite of being situated in a wildlife reserve. We had a good experience.
