A delightful property about 10 mins drive from the centre of Hazyview. Both the accommodation and public rooms were beautifully furnished and set in a glorious garden with views across to Kruger Park. We could not have been made more welcome by Ilara who was very hospitable and helpful with plenty of local advice. Breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommended as...

Our family of four needed a place to stay for our second to last night near Kruger as the park accomodation was full. After an amazing seven days in Kruger, we were sad to leave however Plumbago and the Hazyview area turned out to be a real treat. Plumbago is an amazing oasis, tucked away off the main highway. Our second visit was as good as the first one! Ilara and Robbie make great hosts and Plumbago is the ideal place to stop over en route to the Kruger National Park or if you are exploring the Escarpment. We can also recommend requesting dinner (although you need to do so before arrival) - absolutely fabulous after a long drive....

Ilara is living her dream of providing benchmark SA accommodation with delicious and varied cuisine in a secluded, private and accessible location just 20 minutes from Kruger. Breakfasts are a kaleidoscope of colourful fresh ingredients, and the four-course dinners in the evening are feasts to look forward to ahead of a hard day's game drive. Dishes are carefully and expertly...
