We arrived and were greeted by Dawn who showed us to our rooms. After a short team talk we went back to the office to see if we could extend our stay. Rob gave us a beer (it was hot) and checked availability but they were fully booked - our loss. The rooms are really comfortable suites with self catering...

My wife and I loved to stay at Ashbourne. It's a peaceful place, very beautiful. The room Honeymoon Cottage is big and comfortable. Rob and his wife are great hosts, very kind and helpful. Thank you both for everything, specially for the great dinner with great wine. We wish you the best.

What a wonderful find this place is. The owners, Rob and Dawn are excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The accommodation was ideal and provided everything we needed for our stay with some extra little touches which made it feel like home from home. We particularly liked the mosquito nets covering the beds which offered a...

Only stayed one night as a jumping off point before Kruger but definitely wished we could have stayed longer. Arrived just in time to catch sunset over Sabie River Valley. Owner Rob is a fantastic host and so friendly - invaluable tips for visiting the area and Kruger. We stayed in the family cottage which was very spacious, clean and...

We stayed for two nights at the Honeymoon Cottage. Loved it! Rob and his wife are very nice and friendly. One evening we sat together in the garden, had a nice talk, watching a thunderstorm in the distance. The view to the hills are stunning. Go for the breakfast, one of the best we had in SA. Good basis for...

Our stay at Ashbourne, though only one night, stands as one of the highlights of our trip to SA. The rooms are lovely, the bed huge and comfortable, and the breakfast enormous and delicious. The property is well laid-out, and we had a sense of complete privacy in our room and on its terrace. The views from the property are...

I spent three nights in this beautiful B&B The first night I spent in one of the B&B's rooms (included a most wonderful breakfast) and the next two nights at one of the self catering cottages. The rooms were clean, comfortable and aesthetically appealing. Towels for bathing and swimming were provided. The hosts went out of their way to make...

All the positive reviews are definitely warranted. The room we were in was beautifully appointed, the views are wonderful, the stargazing at night is magical. The welcoming hosts, Rob and Dawne, are extremely helpful with lots of insider tips of the area. Great place to stay, I can't wait to return!

We booked three nights here originally but the rooms are so comfortable and luxurious, we decided to prolong our stay. Although 'just' a standard room, there is a super-king sized bed surrounded by a mosquito net, a spacious bathroom, a living room and a terrace with beautiful views. However, what really made our stay was Rob's welcome and his helpful...

A nice place to stay when looking for accommodation in Hazyview area. We stayed in a king size bed suite, which was really comfortable and clean. Our two other guests stayed in a two bed room, with a view of the valley and the Panorama Route. Breakfast was divine and the atmosphere relaxing and peaceful! Rob and Dawn are very...
