Our hosts Rob and Dawn were superb!! Always available, friendly and super knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were comfortable and extremely well equipped. The staff were friendly and efficient. The guest house is and has everything you could ask for. The breakfasts are amazing...full English plus healthy fruit, yoghurt and cereals. Every morning there were pastries as well. We...

We were looking for a one night stop on our way from Johannesburg to Kruger Park, and decided to make that stop in Hazyview, just outside the gates. A search of reviews steered us to The Ashbourne, and Google maps took us on an adventurous route which included a few kilometers of unpaved road. We though Google had lost its...

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in the area. The rooms were fantastic and spacious. Some had self-catering facilities. The views from the lodge were beautiful as it is at the top of a hill. Our hosts Rob and Dawne went out of their way to accommodate us, even lending us binoculars when we went for a day...

We stayed with my in-laws, husband and 2 kids in Stone Cottage and loved it! Rob and Dawne are superb hosts and their property is simple, relaxed and just lovely. Loved the layout of the cottage to give both couples privacy and the girls each had their own sleeper couch. Self-catering kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed a braai...

Some members of our family spent a weekend here whilst attending a wedding in the area. The rooms were plush and the breakfasts were great. It was very well situated for the purpose of attending a wedding at the new Watershed Venue in the area. Being totally surrounded by a healthy ecology and lots of bush, you should not be...

Rob and Dawn are the most wonderful hosts in this most amazing relaxed, welcoming and comfortable country estate. Spacious cottages (we had the family cottage) with all you could need. Out own small pool and just 1 minute walk to the main pool. Incredible breakfasts laid out on crisp white linen providing the best start to the day. And, within...

Booked direct with Rob and Dawne and was given very good service from the beginning. Hoped that we could all be together but son (33) in a separate room, There is a selection of, I think from memory, nine rooms available. They range from balcony, mountain view cottages, family cottage and honeymoon cottage as well as, just a room. Well...

We arrived and were greeted by Dawn who showed us to our rooms. After a short team talk we went back to the office to see if we could extend our stay. Rob gave us a beer (it was hot) and checked availability but they were fully booked - our loss. The rooms are really comfortable suites with self catering...
