As mentioned, Lower Sabie is the best camp in the parts of Kruger we have visited. The wheelchair accessible room we slept in was clean and neat. It is however outdated and can do with a revamp. There are very old tiles in the room...More

This is my favourite camp which offers accommodation overlooking the Sabie River as well as semi-luxury tents in a bush-like setting. The Mugg & Bean is a must for sundowners or breakfast on the deck overlooking the Sabie River.

Campsite provides what you'd expect; large camping spots (were using a 4x4 mounted tent) with complementary barbecues (cleaned every day). Facilities were adequate and clean. Had some great sightings in the area.

What time is checkout. We are doing the early morning walk (which is believe is at 4am) trying to work out if we will have time to have a bit more of a sleep before we need to check out. Thanks

Checkout is 10 am, but i think there is a little bit flexibility if you speak to the staff, but it's not much. Best Regards

What is the secret of getting the type of accomodation you want? I went on line to find the accomodation or similar I wanted was not available, this was exactly on the day that they should have been released, - all unavailable. I only can assume that they have been block booked by agents, when do they release them? or is it worth going to them so I can finalise my trip?
