this was our first safari and we weren't disappointed, this place is gorgeous, every lodge has it s own plunge pool, sunbeds, shade area with a beautiful bed, outdoor shower and views to die for. Our ranger was Patrick who was outstanding and was determined to find us a leopard to complete our big five and didn't disappoint, he couldn't...

4 of us stayed for 4 nights.....a truly amazing experience! The first day was a bit of a shock, but once you got over the 5am start every day, what you saw was worth it....the big 5 and so so much more. Also many many beautiful birds. The staff at the lodge were wonderful and nothing too much trouble ...smiles...

WE had 4 nights at Jock and our ranger was Mica. Although we did not see a leopard on our trips he could not have tried harder. We left the cable for charging up the phone in Cape Town but Christine in reception had a similar model and was pleased to lend it to us. No one to call in...

We recently visited jock for 3 nights as part if our honeymoon. Our ranger, Ben, was fantastic and so knowledgeable. We saw the big 5 and much much more so this is the place to be if good game drives are your priority, provided that you don't mind the 5am wake up call (it is worth it!) The decor is...

If by 5-star you expect exciting, authentic game-viewing in a totally natural setting, Jock will deliver, as it will on excellent food and lovely staff. We loved the fact that Jock’s vehicles are the only ones in the area allowed out on the Kruger roads after dark, and the fact that there are semi dried-up river beds to explore and...

We had a super experience in jocks safari. The food was great, the staff were lovely, friendly and enthusiastic. The game drives were excellent. We missed our first night due to a cancelled flight but jocks made a great effort to accommodate us on our arrival and to include some extra game drive time we had missed.

Yes that is what you are trying to see, and you see them all. The place is a step up from glamping and is a great experience. The staff are great and the rangers excellent both Jacob and Ben . You will not leave underwhelmed. This lodge is the only one that allows you to travel the creek beds and...

This was our first safari experience and Jock and it's team made it unforgettable! Jacob was our guide and every morning around 6 am he would give us a cheery wake up call for the first safari of the day. There was another safari every evening too! Jacob has the sharpest eyes and spotted animals and birds everywhere. We stayed...

My wife and I spent three days and nights in this wonderful old lodge in Kruger. It is the oldest lodge there and shows a little age but still wonderful. The area that they have to explore is smaller than most but has a strong concentration of animals compared to other areas. Jacob was our ranger and really got us...

It’s a Dog’s Life in Kruger Park Until fairly recently the only accommodation in the fabulous Kruger National Park was so-called public rest camps, fairly Spartan affairs. Jock Safari Lodge is one of a new breed of privately run safari lodges, on private concession areas within this world famous game reserve. The lodge is themed around Jock, South Africa's best...
