I don't think there are enough words to describe the experiences, food, sights, smells and people that are associated with Jocks. From the second we arrived to the second we left it was perfect.Firstly Lazarus, the most amazing tracker who enabled us to see the big 5 so many times, a leopard kill, wild dogs, so many birds plus so...

Jock Safari has to be one of the greatest places we have ever stayed, All the staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms villas were very nice and clean. The evening entertainment/meals were a great chance to meet up with other guests and discuss what each had seen on the game drives of that day. I would highly recommended and would...

The lodge was lovely & the service & food were good & the staff were very polite & interactive & try to give the guest their best personal attention My stay would have been made more memorable if we had spotted more animals especially the big five at close rrange. My friends who stayed at Lion Sands at the same...

We spent 4 nights here and had 8 safari trips. The routine is to get up at 5am and be on the road by 5:30am. You return at 9am for breakfast. You stay at the lodge for lunch and afternoon tea and then leave at 4pm for an afternoon/evening safari, returning around 7:30pm ( the last 90 minutes are using...

We stayed at the Fitzpatrick's lodge at the camp. It was self catering but was serviced daily. We loved the entire experience from the actual room, pool and game drives. I did make use of the gym albeit small but was good to get some exercise. We had hyena, waterbuck and a rhino cruising on the riverbed in front of...

Perhaps we should have visited Kruger before Sabi Sands and then we would have a different opinion of Jock. It is much in need of refurbishment and was very disappointing to see as based on the reviews expectations were much higher. We stayed at the main lodge, #2 and our friends were in #7. The layout is very good but...

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 5 stars in the very heart of Kruger National Park. Everything they do from pickup at the airport is laser focused on getting you the best wildlife viewing experience possible. Their location means some of the best sightings are just outside the lodge's gate. I saw all of the "big 5" within...

We have been back nearly two weeks and I am still missing this place!! The adventure starts when you are picked up from the airport - we saw quite a few animals on the journey to the hotel. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. The decking area was great and had amazing views. I couldn't fault the...

I have been visiting the Kruger since 1981 and seen and driven past Jock on every visit. If only I had stopped 36 years ago !! Absolutely first class for animal spotting, food and luxurious accommodation. I will not visit Kruger again without spending 3/4 days at Jock. Naomi made us feel really special and that we were the only...

It is a nice place for people who have never done safaris in the African bush before. The staff is very friendly, from the managers to the rangers and the chefs. Very pleasant to have them around and will do anything to fix a problem. Unfortunately, our travel agent sold it to us as a luxury lodge, which it is...
