A few years ago we stayed at Leopard Hills game lodge. Leopard Hills was Luxury with an “L” but that’s not surprising given the daily rate Leopard Hills charge. Imbali was sort of mid-range in rate and though I’d say it was luxury (lowercase) it more than compensated with a wonderful ambience. Let me get the gripes out of the...

True natural beauty with luxury and great hospitality. The game drives with Doug were great and the sounds of the bush a great bedtime story. Rooms were perfect, with huge cosy bed shower and bath with a view and every comfort you need.

I had always wanted to travel to South Africa to visit Cape Town and also experience a safari in Kruger National Park. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The whole experience was a delight from start to finish. Wonderful friendly staff, first class accommodation, fabulous food and a terrific safari experience

a beautiful place, delightful food, nice individual houses with thatched roofs instead of rooms, surrounded by animals, not only at nighttime.... We enjoyed the game drives (dusk and dawn), the guide took us to places we wouldn't have found.

Lock all your valuables and cash when you are on this property in the safe. We forgot we are in Africa and have to assume responsibility for losing money. We had some one rifle through our backpack and take money that was inside two zips - they selectively took US dollars and ZA rands and left behind other currency we...

This is the first of the two reviews I will write to separate the experience. Hamilton, Imbali and Hoyo Hoyo are owned and operated by the same group and are in close proximity to each other. The guides share knowledge on the radio - so every morning/evening there were 6-7 jeeps out there in March covering the game tracks. Its...

WOW. Loved this place. Rooms are enormous private balcony with your own spa. Large ensuite with bath and separate shower. Mosquito net all around the bed to keep out creepy visitors. You can not walk around alone at night because of animals and snakes but a porter will escort you to your room after dinner. Food was beautiful. A range...

The property is amazing. The rooms are really good and the set of the room is very good. They have taken care of our safety from all aspect. We not allowed to move out of our room alone when it's dark, we suppose to call one of the porter from the reception which is really good service as there is...
