Honestly, these cottages are perfect small houses. Fully equipped outdoor kitchen, comfortable couches, ceiling fans, nice bedroom and bath. Very convenient to have game drive pick up right at your front door at 4 am. Only drawback is the road to get here which really ought to be limited to 4 WD vehicles. The isolation of the place meant we...

Very nice and secluded camp. Great potential with a bird hide. Beautiful surroundings and worth spending time in it. The problem with the camp is that the bungalows are in a desperate need of an upgrade and proper maintenance as the furniture are run down . The rooms requires air-conditioning. Locks must be fitted to the front doors. In the...

This is a stunning camp in the south of Kruger, staff are very friendly and the units are well equipped. The only drawback for a summer visit is the lack of air conditioning, this made the nights quite uncomfortable. Great to have the private road to and from the camp and sightings are plentiful in this regions. We would certainly...

We had a large party and used 3 of the units. All were very tidy and everything functioned perfectly. Staff were very friendly, and even lent us the staff barrel braai due to our party size. The leopard resting across the river bank was just an added bonus..

A great location for a quiet bush experience with great birding views from the patio. Unfortunately let down by cleanliness issues. San Parks really need to get to grips with training their staff how to clean. The outside furniture was good quality but filthy as was the outside dining table. Add to this bat urine on the outside settees creates...

This is my favourite camp because of the location, very secluded on a private road (S139) with lots of wildlife. As with all the camps I visited on this trip (10) the reception was friendly and efficient, the cottage(no. 8 with a view) was clean and bedding and towels fresh. Monkey's a problem, I forgot to turn the fridge against...

When you make a reservation be aware, that you have the choice of a bungalow with view or without view. Without view you normally stare right into the bush in front of you. With view, you have most likely a waterhole in front of you (because the river is not always running, especially at this drought times). If you have...

We stayed at this camp during our annual visit to the park. Away from the crowds of Skukuza and Lower Sabie, the camp was delightful. We saw lion, rhino, hippo just across in the river bed on arrival. There is also a hide on site. The accommodation is basic and there are no real amenities but we loved it and...

Perfect holiday destination. Excellent accommodation, private road, bird hide a highlight. Game viewing from the camp hugely exciting. Good furniture, chalet layout good for families. Reception sells wood.

We stayed 3 nights. First 2 nights in chalet 10 and last night chalet 5. If you prefer a bush experience and self catering this camp is great. The chalets are spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom contains, toilet, shower (water saving needle thin spray) and basin. The one bedroom chalets have outside kitchens - latches on the cupboards seem...
