We have enjoyed our camping experience tremendously! Lovely facilities, clean and plenty available, although the camp was full, no waiting was necessary. Lovely pool and grounds neat and friendly! We were close to the fence and the hyenas, were walking past us looking for something...More

As most say, lovely camp on the river. Learn the chalet code and you'll expect what you get. The monkeys are a real nuisance so leave nothing outside, even in cupboards. Much less traffic in this northern part of the Park. Lots of animals, bit...More

This was the first camp we stayed at during our visit to the park it has an excellent shop, a lovely walk overlooking the bush and very tame bush bucks wandering around. The elephant museum is well worth a visit and the bungalows are equipped...More

We stayed in a three bed hut. It was nice and clean. The employees here are super nice especially the museum employee. The museum is something you should visit if you stay here. They have a nice walking path that you can view wildlife.

About
Description
The idyllic Letaba Rest Camp is situated on a sweeping bend of the Letaba River, midway between the southern and northern boundaries of the Kruger National Park. The name means "river of sand", and the sandy riverbed More is an excellent location for game viewing, particularly elephant, which thrive in the area. Letaba is a green oasis in the surrounding mopane veld, and remains a firm favourite with visitors. At night the stars overlook a symphony of sounds. Owls, nightjars, frogs, fruit bats, crickets and cicadas all vie to be heard, until the lion roars, then all are silent. Less

The camp itself has a restaurant - same restaurant and meh as most other major camps - with a good a la carte menu. Depending on what kind of accommodation you’re getting though it’s always a great idea to self-cater so that... More

Not sure but as the bungalows are on the side of the hill the view is slightly obscured unless you are on the edge of the river. Lovely camp with a great viewing platform within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. Was... More
