Nothing in this place even deserves a review other than the amazing game drive. Everything else was just somewhere between mediocre and average. I thought the service was okay until I reached my tent which seemed like a construction site because something in it was being fixed and staff members kept walking in and out and let's not even talk...

My first safari holiday and I was very pleased with everything. Nkambeni Safari Camp is not one of the very luxurious camps but it is very clean and comfortable with a friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, good food, and excellent rangers. By the 2nd drive, we had seen all the BIG FIVE plus many, many more. A very short drive to...

The food was mundane even though they made a big deal out of it. The all-day game drive was okay and we did see some animals but the driver seemed more interested in things other than what we paying customers wanted to do (like stay and watch the animals for a bit). The accommodations were not great. As the title...

Stayed here recently for the second time. Being a "local" in the area, its always great to see tour groups enjoying their "African safari" experience. Accommodation is in permanent tents - comfortable stay. Be prepared to hear everything around you - ranging from the hyena, lions, hippo to the trains passing in the night. We were bothered by mosquitoes so...

Nhambeni "Tented Village" is a great way to experience KNP - from it one looks into the park 24/7 through the game fences and in a 5 to 10 minute drive one reaches Numbi Gate to enter either with a ranger (good idea at least first time to get bearings and tips) or with your own/hire car (also brilliant as...

We had a very nice stay at this tented camp. This camp is located just outside Numbi Gate, but still within Kruger Park. Disadvantage of this location is that you're not surroundend by the Park and thus always have to go the same way into the park (at least at the start of your safari). Other than that, location is...

We stayed for two nights on a tour trough South-Africa, and liked the "upper deck-style" of the construction in which the reception, lobby, bar & resto was located. The tent and accessories were appropriate; in- en outdoor shower, reasonable bed, private outdoor deck. The distance inbetween the tents is rather short so we could hear every move and cough from...

We stayed at Nkambeni for 4 nights in January 2015. We had a great time; service was great. This is not a "first class" type resort; its a value-for-money, child-friendly, more-than-good-enough place to use as a base for your Kruger safari!

Tented accommodation was a pleasant surprise. Unit furnished to give a cosy feel. Was surprisingly warm & snug. Buffet style meals have plenty of options for all. Great dining area & ovetall good value for money. Will return.

The Nkambeni Tented camp is adjoining the world famous Kruger National Park in South Africa and provides an excellent stop over for a couple of nights to enjoy game viewing in the open land cruisers. It is a little spread out and is what could be called "rustic" in its surroundings, but the meals and facilities are first rate. If...
