This was our stop at the end of our overland trip so we figured we would upgrade for the final three nights. Mistake. Before we arrived our guide called for upgrade prices. 500R tent or 900 deluxe. On arriving we went to reception with our guide and were quoted the same prices. We viewed the upgrades and chose the tent...

What you discover when you get here is the following: Everything here is double the price than at any other camp. A dble brandy and coke will cost you R50. At Skukuza which is by far a much, much nicer venue a beer costs R17, at Nkambeni it costs R30. All their game drives and so-called 'bush walks' are an...

There was one serious flaw at the start - the AC remote was missing in our room and we arrived after a safari drive in 40 C. No shower helped but we were ok after we got this fixed. The lodges are simple run of the mill safari 'huts' with one room with sitting area, ensuite and two connected showers...

Located just inside Kruger. Tents were clean and the outside showers attached to the tent were amazing. Anytime you get a chance to take a shower outside life is good. Welcome dinner was excellent with lots of choices and the service was great. Wifi a little sketching but hey it's Africa! Swimming pool didn't look too clean so we didn't...

Been here with a group on the camp site. Very nice place to stay with Kruger Park on the other site of the fence. When you go to the nice and clean toilet or shower, you'll find out that the back site is against the park fence and totally open so all animals can see you do you're thing. There...

Will not recommended this at all.. It is a plot with tents close to an electric fence.. Have to walk far to the tent. Cannot park near your tent. The security guard came running towards the gate with open pants when we arrived.. This doesn't make a good impression.. We didn't even stay. The tents are very close together.. Aircons...

Great first stop n the Kuger National park, just inside the park & close to everything you need, cabins available, resturant, pool & a waterhole that is right infront of the bar area. The waterhole is the home to some Hippo,s so if you look long & hard you are sure to see your first glimpse of the wild life,...

Absolutely wonderful and a genuine bargain at the price. The air-conditioned tents are clean and well equipped, the view from the veranda is magnificent and the staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The buffet dinner and buffet breakfasts are well presented and absolutely delicious. A small pub and smoking area at one end of the veranda overlooking the watering hole...

Nothing in this place even deserves a review other than the amazing game drive. Everything else was just somewhere between mediocre and average. I thought the service was okay until I reached my tent which seemed like a construction site because something in it was being fixed and staff members kept walking in and out and let's not even talk...

My first safari holiday and I was very pleased with everything. Nkambeni Safari Camp is not one of the very luxurious camps but it is very clean and comfortable with a friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, good food, and excellent rangers. By the 2nd drive, we had seen all the BIG FIVE plus many, many more. A very short drive to...
