My partner and I stayed at Vuyani Lodge for 7 nights at the end of June and we had an absolutely wonderful experience, which we could thoroughly recommend. We were met on arrival in Johannesburg by Yani, our driver from the LODGE. We decided to drive to the lodge, which is a 5 hour trip, as our connecting flight meant...

Wow ... what a wonderful review, such a pleasure to read it this morning! It's the ultimate reward to hear and read when our guests enjoyed their stay with us as much as you did. That's just the best. I am pleased to hear about the range of animals you saw during your stay ... well, you kind of saw...

Arriving in JHB we were greeted with our transfers, arranged by the Vuyani, and whilst a long drive to the lodge, on the way we benefitted from vast experience of the drivers who went to great lengths to make us feel welcome and educate us about their country (of which they are very proud and rightly so). We received fresh...

Dear Aaron, What a lovely review, and I am proud to know that we are the first property you are reviewing as a Tripadvisor reviewer! I must have driven the JNB-Lodge route 100 times in my life, if not more, and I still enjoy it. There is so much to see, and it makes one reflect on life. We are...

I had a fantastic time at the Vuyani Lodge. All the staff were very friendly and incredibly considerate. The food was great regardless of whether it was indoors or at the outdoor firepit, and the rooms themselves were very comfortable. But the real highlight was of course the animals. In the lodge area itself we say lots of antelopes &...

The lodge can accommodate 20 guests at any one time and as everyone is there to go on safari you see a lot of them. Morning safaris start at 6am and in June it is cold, down to 5C. All the advice was to take a warm jacket and trousers, hat, scarf and gloves because the safaris are in an...
