This is an amazing venue. We shared a two bedroomed cottage between my husband and myself and my son with his wife and two children. The kiddies slept in the lounge on double bed sleeper couches and loved every minute. We had my 16 yr...More
Toorbos is the ideal getaway. And if one does not feel like the Huzz and Buzz of the rest of the Wilderness holiday goers then this is the ideal spot.

One of our favourite off-the-beaten-track spots. I'm actually reluctant to write this review, as we almost want to keep Toorbos what it is at the moment still - a hidden gem.

Magic self-catering farm accommodation in Wilderness on South Africa's Garden Route Coast. This is country living at its most genuine: the two cottages occupy a quiet corner of our 86 hectare Toorbos farm, overlooking a large dam and some of our 60 hectares of macadamia orchards-the ideal place for family holidays. Rest and relax on your own wooden deck, take time out on the dam for a spot of catch-and-release bass fishing, enjoy walking or mountain biking on the farm or in the surrounding forests and countryside, take a quick drive to the quiet of Wilderness' endless, almost-deserted beaches or to the excitement and glitz of the Garden Route Mall in George.
