We visited with our 2 kids. We loved the pool, easy access to the estuary and about 5 minutes walk to the beach via the Touws River. The amenities were neat and clean with Lou and Denise going above and beyond to make us comfortable and feel at home.

Great couple that runs this B&B, they are warm and friendly and really listen to you. Our son mentioned pancakes and the next morning - American Pancakes for breakfast. Never saw him eat so much. Dinner was excellent and you should at least book one meal to eat in-house. Great beach and river within walking distance - for a change...

This is a beautiful B&B in Widerness. We felt totally welcome and at home because of the warmth and graciousness of our hosts. They were extremely helpful when we asked for advise about our drive to Kruger National Park and aided us in booking B&B's, choosing driving routes and mapping out our journey. Our room was spacious and comfortable and...

The hostess was welcome and friendly but bathrooms felt damped and very old fashioned decorated! Was in a lovely area close to all restaurants but because of the dampness its very slippery and greg fell on his way out quite up hill to carry luggage! Lovely view but wont return sorry also not private at all

We only stayed here for 1 night while driving the garden route, but wish we had stayed longer. The owner, Lou was extremely welcoming and friendly. He cooked us a fantastic dinner upon our arrival and a great breakfast in the morning. It is located in a beautiful area overlooking the water. We enjoyed our walks to the beach and...

We received a very warm welcome from the hosts Lou and Denise who were extremely helpful in giving us tips on things to see and places to go. We arrived on the evening of a 2 hour power outage and were given the best advice ever to go and...

What a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous little village! The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and despite hotels.com messing up the bookings (like every hotel on this trip!), everything was fixed quickly and efficiently. There are rooms in the main house and cottages outside if you want privacy. There are 3-4 parking spaces just in front of the garage...

We only had one night at Wilderness, but it was a comfortable and most hospitable stop-over. Denise and Lou were both very welcoming and friendly, and we enjoyed our chats with them. We had the impression that if we were to come back in the future they would remember us as they made an effort to get to know us...
