We had a fabulous stay at Porcupine Pie. The lodges are absolutely beautiful, very luxurious and the views are to die for. John and Judy made us feel very welcome, giving lots of tips about the local area. We ate in the local village one night, but took advantage of the offer of dinner in the Lapa & would recommend... We arrived at the lodge after a lovely 5 hour drive (including stops) from Cape Town where we had spent ten action packed days. The lodge is situated around 15 minutes by car from the N2 road and is in Wilderness Heights. It is well worth the drive! We were shown our room by Jude as John was in town... More

We spent 2 nights of our honeymoon at Porcupine Pie. The views are amazing, and they have nice trails to the waterfall. John's hospitality and the meals he cooked for us was fantastic. Highly recommended.

My wife booked us in here for the week end and we had the most amazing time... it was a scenic four and a half hour drive from Cape Town, and was the perfect long week get away. We'll be back, beautiful setting, great food and wonderful hosts.

The lodge is the perfect place to relax, enjoy beautiful scenery and to have that much needed romantic breakaway (if you're not on your honeymoon!). The room was lovely and all the small details are tended to. John makes you feel at home and is the perfect host. An absolute delightful place to stay.
