My sister and my daughters spent two nights at the Ecolodge and we had a lovely time. The cabins were authentic and had all we needed. The lodge gives you a feeling of "getting away from it all" as it is very peaceful, hidden in between lush vegetation. If you want glitz and 5* accomodation, then you miss the point...

There is a small swimmingpool and a bar. Nice tracks to walk on the property. Owners and staff very friendly and helpfull. They can arrange...

Tucked away in the bush, it is a really lovely setting. Conveniently close to other places of interest and en route to game reserves. The staff were warm and friendly, the food was great, all in all it was good value for money. We will be back.

We arrived to a wonderful fireside meal and were treated like Kings. The setting, under the canopy of the sand forest, is wonderful and everyone is so very out of the way friendly and welcoming. The rooms beautiful and a self catering kitchen is available and spotless. In the morning I ran along the nature trails and then cooled down...

No warm welcome. Concrete bed and furniture! Roof leaks on the bed. No possibility to change. Poorly decorated lodge. Frogs in the room. And lots of them outside. Shower not clean. Got sick after breakfast. Service without a smile.

Dear Bart, Firstly my sincere apologies, I can assure you that this is not the standard we like to offer. Only the leaking roof was reported to our reception staff the moment you checked...

Please don´t miss the night dinner and ask for the beef. The best in the world. Clean rooms and friendly staff, hot water, drinking water available in the room and a nice bar with cold beer and wine (small nice luxuries given the location). 35min drive to the park entrance. Staff at the hotel can arrange tours with game rangers...

Value for money in the ecolodge. Nice setting in the middle of the bush (a dirt road leading to the lodge), They have a restaurant on side with good food. excellent advicers working at the bar. The lodge is not so close to St. Lucia.

We thought this was budget luxury on a small game farm conveniently located from both St. Lucia and Hluhluwe Reserve. Although service and food were excellent, and the area was kept as clean as possible, it was NOT luxurious. It was not as convenient as we thought: 40 min fast drive to Memorial Gate of Hluhluwe; 70 min to city...
