What an Amazing two night three days we had at Rhino River Lodge'. The Staff Food Accommodation Rangers were all Awesome. They went out of their way to make your stay memorable! We stayed in The Homestead which can accommodate 6 people with its own private pool. We were only two so had all the space in the world 😘❤️

What an experience! With the two of us we stayed in the homestead chalet (capacity 6) with our own pool. Normally overlooking the river, but as of the very dry period, this was not the case now. Chalets were in the middle of the bush, and impala's were walking around. Very nice interior with excellent facilities. The game drives by...

5 of us (3 generations) had THE most fabulous 4 nights at Rhino River Lodge. We had a real need to get 'back to the bush' having moved from Africa to Australia and chose it due to the closeness to Durban. We stayed in a 3 bedroom freestanding cottage with a pool, a short walk from the main lodge. Kyle,...

What a wonderful review! Thank you so much for your feedback. I will pass on your praise to Kyle, it sounds like you all had a great time together. The house that you mentioned really is a perfect place for an intimate family get away. We certainly hope to see you again when you come back to visit from Australia!

We stayed with a family group of 6 people for two days in the Cottage and the Homestead, whereby the latter was a cost free upgrade of a normal double room. Both houses are huge but in the same way cozy. The terraces have a pool and a great view trough the beautiful fever trees on the (dry) river bed....

We spend 2 days at Rhino River Lodge and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff, room, food were great. We had 4 very good game drives with Alex and were lucky to spot cheetah on 2 drives, including their impala dinner. Also the mock attack of a black rhino and very close encounters with elephants are things to...

Also for a family like ours - 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 11) -, this is a great place to be. We saw much wildlife and had close encounters with 'the big stuff'. The game drives were exciting and at the same time relaxing (and I did not have to drive!). The food was good, the staff friendly...

Thanks for your positive review and feedback! You are correct, one of the greatest parts about taking a private safari is that you don't have to drive yourself and you can just sit back, relax and enjoy. Plus the rangers know where all the hotspots are to look for animals and it increases your opportunities for seeing all the animals....
