We arrived in Durban from Pretoria after a long trip, going all over the city we finally checked in at the hotel. A perfect atmosphere for resting with a loved one. The rooms furnished beautifully and oh so stylish. Its up to you whether you want to lock yourself in the room or go to the restaurant... you wont be...

I booked rooms for my employer for a business trip to Durban. Miko is the best, such passion can not be missed, I appreciate it. I will definitely be using The Concierge as my accommodation when I make Durban bookings. Keep up the good work, my employer's appreciate it and it makes me look good. Zama, Nexus.

Stayed here for three nights when in Durban. Was fun, funky, loved the daschunds memorabilia and do not disturb sign as we have daschunds at home. Rooms are comfortable if a little small. Just a curtain between room and shower and toiled which I did not like. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast in the adjacent Freedom Cafe was...

Being an interior designer & travel blogger myself, this place stole my heart. I don't see myself sleeping anywhere else but The Concierge when holidaying in Durban. #BigUp to the architecture & designer. The only thing I will improve is the shower as it spills too much water in the bathroom.

After being received by an extremely friendly staff member (Nico) we found a very comfortable, spacious room (a bit dark). Breakfast from early morning till 16:00h must be a threat for the partygoers. Breakfast offered enough energy (and calories...) to keep you going the whole day

Warmly recommended. It starts with a charming garden, very welcoming staff and ends in a trendy and spacious room (comfy king size bed and huge bathroom). Glad I picked this place which is also a 10 min walking distance from the vibrant Florida rd (restaurants, bars, clubs). Enjoy also your breakfast in the garden, breakfast was not more than OK...

We were greeted warmly upon check-in by Robin, the General Manager. He took the time to show us to our room and explained the amenities within. We found our stay to be quite comfy. The room and bathroom were quite spacious however if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend you to request a room that doesn't overlook the...

We loved: - Breakfast under the trees (choose the two part breakfast for a filling meal) - Obvious attention to detail re: interior decor - Generous rooms fitted with a/c, a fan, entertainment and very generous bar/in room snacks - 24h reception (as we arrived late and popped in and put at odd hours) - Central location - easy access...

We stayed at the Concierge for a part of our honeymoon and had a WONDERFUL time. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to give us a special welcome (rose petals, champagne and all). The Freedom Café serves some of the best breakfast in town and it's right around the corner from Florida road with its cafés...

This place is trendy but lacks the Durban warmth. The staff are friendly but not so open in their suggestions. I wish they were more willing to help their guests. breakfast is good but room service can be improved upon. Final verdict: Decent stay. convenient location
