Rooms were full of everything you would need - also the air conditioning was quiet and the wifi wasn't too bad. Close to restaurants etc for evening but not so close there's any noise. Much better for me as a woman on my own to be in this location compared to all the touristy hotels on the beach front. Reception...

Nicely designed, clean room. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Internet slow but working. Open bathroom. Area seemed safe (walked back from a restaurant sound the corner in the dark). Would definitely come back.

The Concierge is a hip, quirky, cool hotel located right by the trendy Florida Road which is lined with bars and restaurants. The room itself its very clean and nicely appointed. We loved the outdoor space connected to the room. Attached to the restaurant was a cafe that serves a tasty breakfast which is included in the stay. Definitely recommend...

It's a fun place, but make sure you are comfortable with your roommate! You only get a curtain to separate you and your friend on the toilet. As long as you are okay with that, go here. Convenience with Uber even if you don't have a car.

We arrived in Durban from Pretoria after a long trip, going all over the city we finally checked in at the hotel. A perfect atmosphere for resting with a loved one. The rooms furnished beautifully and oh so stylish. Its up to you whether you want to lock yourself in the room or go to the restaurant... you wont be...

I booked rooms for my employer for a business trip to Durban. Miko is the best, such passion can not be missed, I appreciate it. I will definitely be using The Concierge as my accommodation when I make Durban bookings. Keep up the good work, my employer's appreciate it and it makes me look good. Zama, Nexus.

Stayed here for three nights when in Durban. Was fun, funky, loved the daschunds memorabilia and do not disturb sign as we have daschunds at home. Rooms are comfortable if a little small. Just a curtain between room and shower and toiled which I did not like. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast in the adjacent Freedom Cafe was...

Being an interior designer & travel blogger myself, this place stole my heart. I don't see myself sleeping anywhere else but The Concierge when holidaying in Durban. #BigUp to the architecture & designer. The only thing I will improve is the shower as it spills too much water in the bathroom.

After being received by an extremely friendly staff member (Nico) we found a very comfortable, spacious room (a bit dark). Breakfast from early morning till 16:00h must be a threat for the partygoers. Breakfast offered enough energy (and calories...) to keep you going the whole day

Warmly recommended. It starts with a charming garden, very welcoming staff and ends in a trendy and spacious room (comfy king size bed and huge bathroom). Glad I picked this place which is also a 10 min walking distance from the vibrant Florida rd (restaurants, bars, clubs). Enjoy also your breakfast in the garden, breakfast was not more than OK...
