It is a great location especially if you want to experience Durban night life. The hotel is clean, the garden & pool area are well kept. The food is continental and it was better than I expected. It can be a bit loud in the wee hours of the morning.

We spent one night at this delightful hotel and wished we could have stayed a bit longer. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although not near the beach, the hotel is near to several restaurants and about a ten minute walk from shopping mall. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. A nice touch is the "help yourself"...

The Benjmin is nicely located. No views or proximity to the beach, but on good walking distance from restaurants. The rooms have the amenities you want at a business hotel, just a bit smaller and the staff is nice. The rooms would benefit from a personal touch, and the sleep quality was a bit disturbed by the traffic outside. Would...

The Benjamin is a boutique hotel in the Morningside area of Durban. The hotel is lovely and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, we had room 29 which overlooks the pool. Some reviews have said the bathrooms are too small but we didn't think so. There are numerous restaurants just a short walk away and the...

This was very unexpected and was a beautiful experience. To the staff, thank you for the constant cleanliness and smiling faces. The location could not have been any better with so many restaurants to chose from, unfortunately we just di not have enough time to eat at all of them. We will be back :-)

It was my first stay. It is clean and comfortable with the colonial setting and feeling. Worth the price paid. It is in the restaurant district with several restaurants across the street or within walking distance. The outside latenight music was audible inside the room but not aloud enough to be a disturbance.

I recently had the pleasure of staying almost 2 weeks at The Benjamin while in Durban for work. I had a wonderful stay. Everyone at The Benjamin is just lovely, from the ladies at breakfast to the front desk staff. I felt totally welcomed and at home. My room (7) was great. It had a wardrobe, shelf for clothes, mini...

We were visiting Durban for a family reunion and chose The Benjamin as the reviews were good and the location seemed perfect. Our booking was for eight nights B&B. I am very pleased to report that our expectations were met. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for them. Our room (5) was of a...

This is a beautiful Motel located on a great street full of restaurants. The accommodation was spotless and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Our only negative is the size of the bathrooms. My husband could not dry himself from the shower and me brush my teeth or put make up on at the same time. In fact if we...

We are over the moon that you enjoyed our friendly and comfortable hotel. We thank you for taking the time to review us. Just to let you know we do have safes at reception where you can lock up your passports and even better we are looking at putting safes in the rooms before the end of this year.

We arrived late afternoon for a 1 night stay and were given a warm welcome by the manager.
