A pleasant and pleasantly furnished hotel in an attractive part of Durban. The ambience was extremely agreeable, the staff efficient and helpful. The small but scrupulously clean open air pool added to the pleasure of the stay here.

We stayed here for one night on a South African tour. Very efficient check in. Smallish but pretty rooms with every thing we needed. Made to feel very welcome with lovely sitting room and free bar. (Great to watch the rugby as a group!) Dinner not available but choice of restaurants and bars on same road.Lovely breakfast with the choice...

Stayed one night before flying to port Elizabeth. Perfectly formed rooms, with everything anyone needed. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Room overlooking courtyard which was lovely and quiet. The breakfast was divine, freshly cooked, with a choice. As a we had a late flight, we used the facilities of the hotel, the teas and coffee were very welcome

It is a great location especially if you want to experience Durban night life. The hotel is clean, the garden & pool area are well kept. The food is continental and it was better than I expected. It can be a bit loud in the wee hours of the morning.

We spent one night at this delightful hotel and wished we could have stayed a bit longer. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although not near the beach, the hotel is near to several restaurants and about a ten minute walk from shopping mall. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. A nice touch is the "help yourself"...

The Benjmin is nicely located. No views or proximity to the beach, but on good walking distance from restaurants. The rooms have the amenities you want at a business hotel, just a bit smaller and the staff is nice. The rooms would benefit from a personal touch, and the sleep quality was a bit disturbed by the traffic outside. Would...

The Benjamin is a boutique hotel in the Morningside area of Durban. The hotel is lovely and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, we had room 29 which overlooks the pool. Some reviews have said the bathrooms are too small but we didn't think so. There are numerous restaurants just a short walk away and the...

This was very unexpected and was a beautiful experience. To the staff, thank you for the constant cleanliness and smiling faces. The location could not have been any better with so many restaurants to chose from, unfortunately we just di not have enough time to eat at all of them. We will be back :-)

It was my first stay. It is clean and comfortable with the colonial setting and feeling. Worth the price paid. It is in the restaurant district with several restaurants across the street or within walking distance. The outside latenight music was audible inside the room but not aloud enough to be a disturbance.
