Lovely friendly helpful staff. Lovely stylish rooms with a view (number 35) Surreal experience overall. Hearing lions roaring and watching giraffe wander across the lawn, baby and all, is lovely but caged tigers and petting Cubs were not expected, and not to our taste. Certainly didn't expect to see a tiger in South Africa... For rooms and service, great. For...

Last week I stumbled across The Farm Inn’s website via a Facebook page and decided to make a reservation for their Sunday Lunch + Game Drive (at 11h00) Combo. The estate is beautiful – even though I was initially a little taken aback by all the stuffed animals in reception. Our game drive was enjoyable and very informative, with a...

We have been staying at The Farm Inn for our South Africa trips for several years and have never been disappointed. I really love the facility. It has all the charm and decor of South Africa with all the comforts of home. The lobby is gorgeous and unique and comfortable. Each room is unique and different, so it's hard to...

Staying at the Farm Inn for a week long set of meetings was very different from the usual business hotel, making a nice change. There aren't many business hotels where you can hear lions roaring nearby and for just 100 ZAR you can go and play with some 4 month old cubs - or more precisely, let them play with...

We travelled with our family (including elderly parents and teenage children) for a 2 night stay. We are based in Johannesburg so we were surprised that it was such a short drive. It was a nice surprise and a lovely getaway from the city (even though its literally a stones throw from the city). What we loved: - The food...

What a refreshing way to spend a nights accommodation when on a business trip. The décor and layout was so refreshing. They cater for families, conferences and business travellers alike. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and I cannot wait until I get to take the family there to see the little lion cubs.

Imagine sleeping in a room with lions just 100m away! Hearing them roar all night! Imagine walking through the gardens to your room and seeing antelopes on the lawn staring and literally wishing you goodnight? This is what I call safari experience. The Farm Inn Country Hotel is simply amazing. The eco friendly rooms, the ever smiling staff and of...

I was a little taken aback by the stuffed animals in reception because it's not my thing but what a lovely stay we had. The servers, cleaners, gardeners and the staff at reception were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. We loved having a cheetah and tiger cub experience. The tiger cub experience isn't always available. The game...

This was my 3rd visit here since 2007. Never disappointed with the Farm Inn. It is very peaceful , relaxing and the staff ....Superb. Each visit placed us in different rooms, have never been disappointed with any of the rooms, love them. My favorite is hearing the lions roaring at night, so comforting. Sunday buffet was excellent.
