Loved our mini break at this spectacular little hotel. Pure luxury. A real spoil. Such wonderful attention to detail and service. Every need was anticipated and met. Fresh towels were provided after our evening shower. The rooms perfectly heated. The staff were fantastic.

I took my husband to the orient for our wedding anniversary. We had a lovely stay, rested well, had good food and a great wine tasting. The sommelier, waiters and other staff are very knowledgeable. The chef is friendly and her food is exquisite! It is overall an unforgettable experience that will have you nostalgic for more!

I'm probably out of kilter here, but there are some significantly flawed things at this hotel. Firstly the good stuff, beautifully located in the countryside close to Pretoria and Sandton, the Tienie Pritchard sculpture museum completely amazing, the hotel is sprinkled with beautiful sculptures and original paintings throughout, the service from the staff cannot be faulted and the breakfast really...

Every single thing was amazing. Absolutely loved visiting the Tienie Pritchard museum on the property. Beautiful artworks and leadglass windows and persian carpets throughout. The attention to detail is wonderful. Every single staff member has been well trained and is thoroughly knowledgeable regarding their specific area of work. And of course the food......... unlike anything I have ever experienced. Chantel...

Went to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and ended up spoiling myself in the process. 2 nights in a very quiet and secluded hotel in a beautifully orient themed room. Breakfast on our private balcony was insane!!! But perfect way to just roll back into bed after it. The mosaic restaurant is the best dining I have ever had. Chantel, marie,...

We were lucky enough to get back again to the Mosaic restaurant although time prevented us from staying over this visit, at the enchanting hotel - The Orient. Our food was first rate, 2 of us chose the larger degustation menu with wine pairing. One of our party with dietary requirements was amply catered for to the extent, that the...

We have never been disappointed at The Orient. Mari and her team truly provide exceptional service. Their attention to detail is amazing. The rooms are superb. This time we stayed in the beautiful and spacious Marrakesh suite. Breakfast was beautiful and amazing as usual. Thank you to the whole team. We enjoyed every moment!

We were invited to join another couple for a fine dining experience with paired international wines. Firstly the arrival to the Orient Hotel is quite mind blowing! I enjoy my art so was quite overwhelmed seeing the collections that were displayed in and around the beautiful premises. The opulence is incredible and each piece is displayed so perfectly and tastefully...

I booked our stay at The Orient to celebrate the news that my wife was expecting our second child. The experience was second to none and staying there really felt like we were in Spain or Morocco. The food was so beautifully plated and it was delicious to boot. The wine pairing was great and to have the non-alcoholic option...

Truly a special place of beauty and charm, where one finds rare and appealing excellence. A remarkable escape! Seamlessly and unknowingly arrived in a different world where people were helpful and friendly, where the architecture is breathtaking, the food divine and the peacefulness revitalising.
