This hotel ticks all the boxes. It is not too grand, has a fabulous atmosphere, the staff are ALL courteous, helpful and friendly. It is, however, very essential to request a mountain facing room. The meals are second to none.

I was last hear 2 years ago and enjoyed my stay so much , I decided to stay again, even though it was only for 1 night. I had an early check in as I had just landed from the UK and needed to shower and change for a meeting. Apparently my room was ready, but the bed needed to... More

Stayed here for a third time over the easter weekend, It's a little gem of a hotel! Quiet, well equiped, 5 star all the way, from the amenities, to the service. Staff are accomodating, food is great & the atmosphere is typically Cape Town. It is centrally located, & you cannot go wrong to book yourself in whether it be... More

Although away from the city centre, the beautiful gardens, views over the mountains and olde worlde ambience of the original buildings create a beautiful ambience. This is coupled with excellent service, modern accommodation wings (including a current decor upgrade underway) with all amenities and free wifi, and excellent meals. Tips: The buffet breakfast is expansive and stylish with many items... More

I stayed at this hotel purely for its location close to the start line for the Two Oceans Marathon. However it's other attributes made this the perfect base and ticked all the boxes for Food, service, comfort, location and personal touch. When I return to Cape Town with my family I'll definitely return to The Vineyard Hotel.
