We stayed for a week in room 310, deluxe courtyard room with view of the back of Table Mountain. I had stayed in this hotel in 2000 and just loved it, and I was not disappointed when I booked it again for this trip. Great 9 course taster meal with wine pairings at Myoga, lovely spa experience, close to Cavendish...

Great place to stay in Cape Town. Fantastic building and very impressed with their green credentials. Had a lovely afternoon tea when we arrived. Lovely gardens and met the residents tortoise. Great history to the building and it's owners.

We appreciate the time taken to record your experience on the Vineyard. You have touched on a couple of our collective passions, one of which is the green credentials of our hotel, and driven by one of our owners. The other is to recognise our history which dates back over 200 years. We look forward to seeing you back and...

My wife and I had just the best meal at the Square, in the Vineyard Hotel. We found the place by accident really, after plans for a boat trip got delayed. So we visited the spa earlier in he day and then came back for dinner in the evening. The service was exceptional, the food too. Even the wine was...

Dear Andy Thank you for your review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your special evening with us. We have replaced our glass panels cutting out the draft, and moved our mushroom heaters in for winter. This should make your next visit much more pleasant. Kind regards Roy Davies

We have wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time. Sadly it was very disappointing! Reception and our initial welcome was fantastic. Our room - a river suite was lovely but needed a definite makeover! The bar and breakfast were just like a zoo. Some staff were happy others were just downright grumpy. The whole place felt like...

Dear Susie Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you found the experience disappointing. I am aware that we had an access point issue at the River Suites over the weekend you stayed, which has been replaced. Did you try wifi on the rest of the property as that was functional. We have recently completed major...

Everything in this hotel is great. We stayed in their garden suite and the room is spacious, as well the bed is comfortable with a proper living area and terrace. Breakfast is awesome. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The view is breathtaking. The garden itself is beautiful. The preserve of its historical main building is unique and interesting.

Walking distance to Cavendish Square, this is a wonderful hotel set on a private estate. The buildings have been lovingly restored and the end product is a contemporary yet classy extension of the hotel's old-world charm. Rooms are spacious and supremely comfortable.Service is unparalleled. I really enjoyed breakfast in the atrium every morning and walks along the ro=iver under the...

Every year we stay at the Vineyard for Two Oceans. Once again we were taken back by the beautiful surroundings, outstanding staff, stunning rooms and awesome food. On the day of our race it rained and the staff did all they could to make sure we never got too wet walking to the start. Offering umbrellas, shuttles and dustbin bags...

The best thing about the Vineyard Hotel was having breakfast on the veranda, right beside Table Mountain. I'll never forget how the clouds looked rolling down the top of the mountain as we breathed in the fresh morning air and sipped our coffee. The food was satisfying, service was great, rooms were modern, spacious and comfortable. Despite it not necessarily...

Set on a private 7 acre estate with a main building that has been extended from a 200 year old mansion, The Vineyard is a hotel for the ages. Thank you so much for your comments on your stay. The Vineyard has indeed been a hotel since 1894, but we do keep up with the times so our most recent upgrades were completed in 2015. Next time you visit be sure to take a walk along the river and see our own little vineyard. Warm regards Roy Davies

This was a very nice hotel with many amenities. The food was quite good and the room was comfortable. It's in a very pretty and relaxing setting amidst the trees and lush greenery. The staff was quite nice and I really enjoyed my all-too-brief say there.

We appreciate your wonderful comments on our home in Cape Town. A short visit does definitely not expose one to all the pleasures of the property, a walk along the river, having breakfast on the patio or lying next to the pool with Table Mountain as your view. We hope to see you back soon. Warm regards Roy Davies
