We visited the Four Seasons for a couple of days following a stint in Cape Town. The idea was to end the holiday with a bit of luxury. We wish we had stayed in Cape Town. The hotel was average at best. The layout of the hotel isn't great and the facilities limited. Food choice onsite was also limited with...

I stayed at the Four Seasons with my two teenage kids, it's a beautiful hotel, lovely views of Johannesburg, beautiful spacious rooms, amazing spa, the dining on the other end was awful, breakfast was good but the service was poor, both at breakfast and at dinner, not enough waiters, few that were there seemed untrained, they just ignored us, not...

In direct contrast(juxtaposition) of my previous stay at the Westcliffe Four Seasons Hotel,my present stay has been near perfect. The checkin was precise and efficient. The room-Excellent. The service and attention to detail-unbelievable! A truly amazing experience The only flaw was a torn bathrobe and a few globes not working in the bathroom. Besides this a true 5 star experience....

Not Four Seasons quality in many areas. People are friendly, but property is tired. Bathrooms in restaurants are very dirty. Hotel has many issues with cleanliness. Food was ok at best. Room service got most order completely wrong. Too expensive for what it is. I would suggest other options.

The Westcliff is good but it's not sure if it's business or leisure . Others can pull off that approach but this place is not truly business orientated and not relaxed enough for Leisure . The pool area doesn't help it's too small for a hotel of this size and standard !

There are many jewels hidden in Johannesburg. This old lady was bought and renovated by Four Seasons Hotel Group, 1 year ago. Although I miss the polo restaurant ambiance, this modern open air restaurant still has an amazing view. Directly over the JHB zoo one can spot the elephants below. Costly but a guaranteed 5 star treatment. The new private 20...
