My second visit to Dee road was even better than the first. Such a warm welcome from Sylvia for whom nothing is too much trouble. Excellent generous breakfast, bed is comfortable and linen top quality. Stay here when you're in Jhb if you can.

"When The Personal Touch is Important to You." There are Guesthouses, there are B&B's and then there is this LITTLE GEM in the suburb of Parkview. Sylvia is absolutely wonderful in going above and beyond. She adds a little "motherly" magic to every stay. When we visit Johannesburg, there is only one place to stay. Great breakfast!! Great outdoor area!!...

I stayed at the B & B one night while I was in Gauteng for a business meeting. What a lovely place. The host, Sylvia, is such an amazing person. Very warm, lovely and wih lots of interesting stories. She showed me around the place and then took me to my room which I was just blown away with. Every...

What an oasis! Guests are made to feel welcome by the most charming hosts. Excellent breakfast. Most comfortable room, with fluffy white towels and beautiful guest linen. Rooms are equipped with a Nespresso machine with a choice of coffee capsules. At the end of the day the bedsheets are turned down, and chocolates placed thoughtfully on each pillow. A beautiful...

The level of detail, comfort, and enjoyment you will find at the Zoo Lake B&B is worth far more than their going rates (don't tell Sylvia - the delightful owner). My room was exquisitely comfortable with every detail place. In the wardrobe you will find an umbrella in case you find yourself in a Joburg thunder storm, there are personal...

If you are looking for a place to stay that's more than comfortable and extraordinarily convenient, stop looking. This is it. From my original inquiry by e-mail everything was handled as if I were a family member. The room felt like home, breakfast was delicious and relaxing, wrapped in the sounds of classical music with a view of the garden....

I stayed at Zoo Lake B&B for a week while I was in Johannesburg, and can honestly say it was one of the most positive hotel experiences I've ever had. It was more like visiting a member of the family than staying at a B&B. I've stayed in 5* Hotels in Dubai, London, New York etc, and all of them...

I couldn't have been more pleased with this delightful bed & breakfast. The house and garden are simply lovely; Sylvia is elegant and friendly and her cooking is spectacular. I stayed for only two nights, and I would have liked to stay longer.

A simply divine BnB. Beautifully appointed room with high quality bed linen and towels. gorgeous garden and pool with loads of comfy chairs to relax in. Sylvia could not be more helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts to die for, I was only sorry I could not eat more or stay longer.

I would recommend this jewel in the midst of "chaos" to all those who appreciate class. I was in room 1 which met all my requirements (viz. neatness, ambience and location). I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was out of this world with Sylvia's enchanting presence and hands-on involvement in its preparation. I strongly recommend this "home" to...
