We stayed here for two nights for a wedding at the venue. Nice and basic. The new rooms build from concrete is quite cold at nights. We stayed in the month of May, and it was really cold. Please provide extra blankets.

My family and I stayed at Gecko Ridge for 7 days and we almost didn't leave. It really felt like home away from home. The Host, Zandre and his team were really amazing. They were friendly and ever so helpful with all of our strange requirements from wanting to use their kitchen to cook my mum's home made curry to...

We arrived at Gecko Guest house on the Easter friday with my sister and our 2 kids, my son who is 3 years old and my Niece who is 6. Sandy was there to welcome us with open arms and helped us with our luggage to the little adorable cottage. The kids fell in love with it instantly. The garden...

This was not just a B&B to me; this was home for 3 months. Sandy was a wonderful hostess; an encyclopaedia of information and always willing to go the extra mile. She also put up with my cats for the duration of my stay; splendid lady!

Ms Kleinscmidt has hit the nail on the head with regards to hospitality, ambiance, service delivery and customer satisfaction! Sandy was the most gracious host and her 'Sublime Gecko Ridge' compliments her personality perfectly. Attention to detail with no compromise. Yet not delivered in Teutonic fashion but with her flair that you become so used to. I will not hesitate...

You can rest assured you are secure and will be taken extraordinary care of by Sandy. Sandy went above and beyond any expectations--making reservations and driving us to restaurants (she recommended--which were excellent by the way!) each evening and picking us up when we were finished. She helped us set up our driver for the four days we got to...

We started our trip being picked up at the airport by Craig who is frequently hired by Sandy at Gecko Ridge to collect her guests. We had arranged everything for our stay with Sandy well before we arrived, including a very nice home cooked dinner with wine upon our arrival. The place is excellent, we stayed in one of the...

Gecko Ridge was a real gem of a find for my partner and I as we traveled to SA this year for the World Cup. Aside from being in a quiet and easily accessible place in Jo'burg, Sandy's (the owner) service was superb... and we were quite a handful as guests! She came out of her way to help us...
