The only issue I had was with the shower head which has some sort of water restrictor built into the head and actually limits the amount of water spraying down on to you. So instead of having a shower which makes you feel good because the water pressure is sufficient, you instead have a system that sprays almost like a...

The room was not fully stocked. Requested an iron and needed to collect at reception myself, no ironing board available???? Was called several times in the morning to return the iron, yet I was busy and requested that it is picked up.

It was the weekend of the Ironman and I was awakened at around 4.30am by people leaving for that event, who did not consider that there may be others staying there who did not have to be woken up at that time!!! The bed was very comfortable though.

Due to a double booking (or that was the excuse given to us) we got a room that was not up to their normal standards. (I know this because we got shown their 'normal' rooms) The room was dirty. There was a dead cockroach on the bed and a cockroach in the bathroom. The drinking glasses given to us were...

We stayed here for two nights and it was perfect for our brief stop over in PE. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was great and bed comfy but the ensuite needs a new shower. The other half of our party used the family room which was perfect with a balcony overlooking the inner court yard...

Less than 5 minutes drive from/to the airport. Spacious and clean bedrooms, very friendly staff and good breakfast. All very economical. Free parking. 10 minute drive from the beach road where all the restaurants and night life is.

Family room is spacious with king size bed and separate twin leading onto a private balcony which overlooks the courtyard pool. The place is located near a road which gets some rush hour traffic so being away from the road ensured a decent nights rest. Staff were friendly, there is secure (gated) parking and less than 100m away is a...

Disappointed with the location of the room, groundfloor next to drive way, kitchen and breakfast room. Bathroom could do with a spruce up, but cannot fault the guesthouse in terms of the staff, service and breakfast

They don't call PE the Friendly City for no reason. To top it off the staff at the Victoria and Alfred Guest House truly live up to this statement. They are warm and welcoming and nothing is too much of a hassel.

Spacious rooms, clean environment. Staff where friendly and helpful. This B&B is close to the airport and beach front. Would recommend to a family coming to PE for a holiday. Also conferencing facilities are second to none at V&A.
