We only had one night, but we will return for sure. The location is very nice, directly on the beach. As special service they clean all the cars in the morning. We enjoyed our stay in Plettenberg Bay.

Our ground floor room was stunning with beautiful sea views, comfortable beds, a lovely bathroom offering a bath and shower, and an outside patio with sun loungers. The restaurant adjoined to the hotel was also very good for dinner and the included breakfast.. Would definitely stay here again. If you want to dine at the hotel in the evening make... More

Absolutely stunning - situated right on the beach. A few steps away from the sea.The establishment is spotless and modern. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast served in a highly acclaimed restaurant, was delicious. My only complaint is that our stay was too short! Will definitely go there again.

The room was really comfortable with amazing views of the lagoon and the sea, staff were friendly and the food was good, although for 2 nights running they did not have some of the dishes on the menu. OVerall a really great place to stay. Breakfast also really good.

We had a wonderful stay at Milkwood Manor on Sea while in Plettenberg Bay. The hotel is in a great location and has large comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Plett.

Best place we stayed that wasn't animal related on our holiday, would definitely return. Location, location, location. Right on the beach, gated access so secure parking and you need a key to open a smaller gate to get on the beach, but only a normal garden type gate. Loved all the details of the hotel - small hotel 13 rooms... More

We only spent one night here during our drive from Cape Town. Wish we could have spent a few more. The room had a beautiful view overlooking the beach. The staff were great and the room was spacious and clean. We could open the doors to our private sitting area and listen to the waves crashing as we went to... More

Wonderful place to stay in Plett, situated right at the beach with a gated and guarded parking lot. Not only the breakfast ist exceptional, but the restaurant sharing the breakfast accomodations of the Hotel was extraordinary in service, menu, wine menu and cookery.

This is set right on the beach; you cannot get closer without swimming. Rooms - ours was first floor facing the sea - was well presented and of a reasonable size, with windows looking out to sea. Bathroom good size and decent bed . Breakfast is served in the adjoining restaurant and is of a good standard. Staff were very... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Location: The most enviable location on the Garden Route. At the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, jutting into the ocean - any closer and you would be in it! - as well as the estuary of a large lagoon- no neighbours but nature! Exquisite, unimpeded 180 views (360 from the roof deck) of the vast blue ocean, golden beaches, large lagoon and the imposing Tsitsikamma Mountain Range. Nature all'round, yet not isolated, but only a 2-minute drive from the town centre and its trendy shops.A pristine beach: accessible from the sheltered cove adjacent to the Manor - ideal for swimming in natural water – you may boat across to an unspoiled and usually deserted beach, far from built-up areas, traffic, crowds and noise. Blissful solitude and a complete immersion in nature, with only the sound of white-crested surf tumbling at one’s feet and the calls of a medley of seabirds – a veritable bird sanctuary. Becalming and rejuvenating - the perfect antidote for stress,. With luck you may even find the mysterious and sought-after pansy shell (sand dollar). The Manor: built in classic Georgian style, with an airy double-volume foyer and eleven double bedrooms, most with private patio or balcony. All rooms are decorated in crisp white and en-suite to a shower cubicle with/without bath, and a queen bed or twin beds, TV-hospitality package, free uncapped Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, safe, fan, heater and hairdryer. The sash windows allow the fresh ocean air straight in. ... more   less
