We booked this hotel having stayed at its sister hotel The Marine before. We were booked in to the Blue Wing which when we arrived realised is not a wing but an annex across the road! We had asked for a quiet room and our room was very nice with a great view of the bay. Unfortunately we were awoken...

We started our 15 day South African adventure by staying the first night here after an incredibly long journey from the UK. This was by far the best hotel of all of our 7 locations and on reflection are sorry that we only stayed for one night. Although, the weather was grey and rainy the staff were delightfully cheerful, welcoming...

This hotel is phenomenal. The rooms are beautiful and serene. The views of the Indian Ocean are heavenly. The seafood-themed restaurant is five-star. Yummo! The gift shop is tres chic! Most of all, the staff is incomparable. The nicest, most accommodating professionals we've ever encountered. This amazing place erased a very bad day we'd had 24 hours earlier. That's how...

The service from start to finish was exceptional. Fabulous room, amazing views. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant on our first night (there are also some excellent restaurants in the town itself). Great local travel tips from Anne-Marie who runs the in house boutique/travel agency. Whilst the weather was not kind to us the warmth of the staff (and...

We loved our stay at the Plattenberg Hotel. Our room was huge and the view was heavenly. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy.. The food was excellent; better here than in the restaurants we went to in the town. We regretted not eating here every evening....

A real treat to stay in this hotel. We had a great welcome with a hot scented towel to refresh after our journey. It stands on the cliff and the views are just amazing. My favourite guest lounge overlooks two bays, a fabulous panoramic view. The rooms are very spacious with a large comfortable bed. The fridge was topped up...

We booked a suite (room 56) for the enormous amount of 780.- € the 20th November 2016. Reception difficult, lasted nearly 1,5 hrs to prepare the room (3pm!!). Service good, employees very friendly. Fabulous outlooks. Restaurant ok. The price of 780.- € impudent for a "suite" of 35m2. Door not closing properly, so howling noise due to the position on...
