We stayed at the actual loft at Bartholomew's loft. It is well appointed and the bedrooms well decorated and the linens very nice. The open plan double volume lounge and kitchen pleasant and airy and a wonderful space to hang out as family (great in summer but I would imagine very cold in winter) but the double bedroom is upstairs...

The place is simply and tastefully decorated. Staff friendly. Rooms, bedding very comfortable. The whole place is immaculately clean. Breakfast is offered at a reasonable R85, but ensure that you clearly indicate you would like breakfast in advance. Any misunderstanding, and you will have no breakfast. The nicest facility on offer is the small but secure enclosed parking area. Not...

This self-catering was perfect for Our needs. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of hot water in the shower, secure parking for our (large) bakkie, and the lounge/kitchenette was well-equipped. It is near various restaurants, so eating out is easy and we took our own breakfast stuff. The only issue we had was that we could hear the tv...

I was very impressed with this find. My room was stunning, just been renovated too. It was clean, very comfy, had coffee, tea fridge etc so felt right at home. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Parking inside the property was a bonus too. Within walking distance of central grahamstown. Only problem was the noise from the main...

We stayed here when settling our son into High School. Beautifully renovated and decorated and the staff could not have been more helpful, but we had the worst night sleep we've ever had. The road is exceptionally noisy with trucks hurtling down the street in the wee hours of the morning and people shouting at the tops of their voices....

We just spend one night in Grahamstown for a stop over between Wild Coast and Addo Area, we could not have made a better choice with the B&B.. It's a lovely place, centrally located and it feels like an oasis of calm. The staff us very helpful and has all the information you need. They offer very spacious rooms with...

After a long day on the road it was like coming home. Clean and comfortable and friendly reception. Near to eating places and the breakfast was super! I cannot speak of views as our room was in a courtyard and I am sure you could request one if you wanted a view.

The room was large, had all the self catering goodies and was really old school but externally it was very sub-standard. I was also plagued by allergies from who knows what. I would not visit again. We were quite disappointed with Grahamstown itself as well, Graaf Reinert was so much better.

What a quaint gorgeous self catering B and B. Tanni and her team were so friendly and efficient. Our ' apartment' had everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable with excellent high quality linen. Room was spacious and they very kindly organized extra linen so our daughter could spend a few nights with us on the huge couch in...
