We’ve stayed at this property seven or eight times in the past several months. We are househunting in the area so this hotel is very convenient to the location. We are titanium elite members with Marriott. Each time we have requested an upgrade and each time it has been denied for various reasons. I understand if the property is sold out. We are not snobs who think we are owed anything. We do strive hard to get our nights so we can remain at the titanium level. On our most recent visit to this property we requested an upgrade to a two bedroom suite. We were told we couldn’t have the upgrade. I went to Marriott BonVoy and there were indeed rooms available. My husband went down and asked the young man at the desk why we couldn’t have an upgrade and he said it was because we were staying on points. I know that is not a Marriott policy because we have been upgraded many times on points. Why accrue points if you cannot plan to use them. On another note, I do like this property overall. We always feel comfortable here and we always sleep well. If you are a light sleeper the traffic noise at rush hour in the morning will bother you some. The property could use some updating. The breakfast is sufficient and dinner is provided some evenings (no alcohol). On our last visit our bathroom was not very clean. The appliances are still white if that bothers you. It does not bother us one bit. Everything is well stocked, the A/C worked fine, but was quite loud, the location is convenient to many restaurants in the area. I’d still stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights in June, the two bed/two bath suite was great for our family. The room was a little warm but it was also 100+ degrees outside. No buffet breakfast is offered right now due to covid..my husband had to leave for his baseball game prior to 7 am and the breakfast burritos weren’t ready yet (weren’t told that they wouldn’t be available till 7 on Saturdays). He was disappointed in the bag breakfast. Our daughter enjoyed the pool and we would return due to the nice size of the suite.

Service has been nothing but amazing! The bed was super comfy and room was cool and clean. I love that they only clean if you want too! Also super pet friendly! Relief areas with bags outside! Kaeleah is amazing! I also enjoyed the welcome text shortly after checking in to make sure everything was okay!

In town for baseball tournament and not a large amount of options locally. Choose this hotel as it is in the Marriott change. In summary… very dated, dirty and not an overly friendly staff. Expectations for a Residence Inn are not that high. Upon arrival tub and sink where backed up and need to call maintenance. House keeping forgot to service our room. Requested a late check out and was ask to depart by 2:30. After rekeying keys at 2 front desk called up and said we need to leave at 2:05. Just not a great experience. Staff seemed immature and incapable. Please improve

I can't say enough good things about the Residence Inn in Goodyear Arizona, it is a great place to stay. Goodyear is about 20 miles west of downtown Phoenix off Interstate 10. The first thing you notice is Clean, Clean, Clean. The hotel, grounds, and rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Our room had a kitchen living room combination with a separate bedroom, dressing area and bath. Lots of storage in the dressing area which is very unusual. In the closet there was a quality iron and ironing board. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator-freezer with ice maker, sink with garbage disposal, stove top burners, microwave, dishwasher, coffe pot, and dining table. The living room area has a work desk, free high speed internet, convertible sofa bed, lounge chair, coffee table, and TV table with three large drawers for storage. A 35" TV in the living room and 27" TV in the bedroom. We had an individual climate control for heat and air conditioning. Our room could accommodate 2-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children comfortably.

The staff was outstanding, exceptionally friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome and did little things to show they appreciated our business. For example, shortly after we checked in we just happened to walk by the the front desk, there were complementary plates of fresh hot sugar and chocolate chip cookies.

We inadvertantly left a couple of items behind when we checked-out. When we called the next day, they found the items and cheerfully mailed them to our home. One item in particular was worth a significant amount of money. Most of us who travel a lot don't expect to recover valuables if left behind even at very expensive hotels.

A buffet breakfast and dinner was included. This is the only hotel that ever provided an evening meal in the room charge, making this hotel a bargain.

The Inn is about a 1/2 mile off I-10 and very close to restaurants (a Starbucks) and a large shopping mall.

There is a golf course next door and some rooms are adjacent to a fairway with a great view.

We stayed there three days and my wife continually found things she liked about this hotel. When we left I told the manager this was one of best run hotels I've stayed, and that was before their response when we discovered we left items behind.

There are a lot more good things I could say but enough is enough, I think you know we liked this hotel.

I stayed at the Residence Inn in Goodyear for four nights on a trip for spring training baseball. The hotel is particularly well located for fans of the Cleveland Indians or Cincinnati Reds with their stadium just minutes away by car. The hotel offers large rooms with separate bedroom from living area and a small kitchen. It's clean and comfortable -- though not plush or extravagant. Parking is convenient. The staff is friendly and eager to please. Breakfast comes with the room with a range of offerings. Other features are a swimming pool and a fire pit. That said, culture and good restaurants are lacking in the area. If that's important to you, you might be better served by staying in central Phoenix which is about a half hour east by car. All in all, the Residence Inn is a good comfortable choice if you're staying in the Goodyear area. Especially if you like spring training baseball.

I like Residence Inns and this one is of very good quality, but the reach of their in-house WiFi is simply terrible. Our room, on the top (3rd) floor, at the end of one of the halls barely got any WiFi, even to connect our phones. It seems like they need a better router to reach their guests.

Really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was outstanding, being so friendly and when I needed extra supplies like water, they gladly helped me. The buffet was a good start of the day although a little variety would have been nice. Convenient location near many malls, supermarkets, and I10 highway. Would definitely return

I stayed here to avoid driving across town after a Christmas party. I could not, for the love of all things holy, find the entrance. When I did find it, there was a giant lovely water despenser full of only ice. I checked in, walked to my room, keys don't work. Walk back to the front desk, she's on the phone the whole time with someone because she couldn't figure out how to check me in...anyway, everythings fine, average, then 8:24 am there's knocking at the door that won't stop. I wake up and answer it, it's housekeeping. She literally said to me "when are you leaving?" I said noon (check out time). She was back at 11:50. Made me feel super welcome.

We just got back from a recent stay here. We were in room 105 a handicap room and it was TERRIBLE. The cabinets in the kitchen were barely hanging on there. The bathroom was not clean at all. There was long hairs in the shower and there were no females staying with us. The room wasn't vacuumed at all in our 3 night stay. Housekeeping was a REAL LETDOWN. We never got clean towels after our first night staying there. There were multiple areas with crumbs from the previous people so I'm pretty sure it wasn't vacuumed at all. BUT the breakfast was good. Management was ok. Would I stay here again? Never.
