Stayed here while we were in town to visit my son. First choice was Residence Inn but it was booked so we stayed here. Hotel seems very new. Very clean. Convenient to I10 and many restaurants. Breakfast was not great. Same egg choices every day with either veggie sausages (what?) or greasy chorizo sausages. Few healthy choices. A couple of things I did not like: 1)while our room had a kitchen, it had no table and chairs to eat at in room. 2)Next to our room was a lounge area which, as I feared, ended up being a gathering spot for a group of young men one night playing card or board games. While they weren't obnoxiously loud, they were having fun and I could hear them as if they were in my room. It went on until after midnight do I decided to call the front desk to complain - but no one answered. Tried several times with no response. It seems a really dumb idea to have such a lounge surrounded by rooms for just this reason. At the very least, there should be signs posted limiting use during reasonable hours. Probably won't stay here again.

The location for spring training sites is great. Quick drive to the Guardians/Reds Spring Training field in Goodyear. Right off of I-10 making getting around the Phoenix area convenient. The room itself was a great size and the kitchenette and refrigerator were great and a useful use of space in the room. The only minor complaint was that the continental breakfast did not have as many options as other Marriott hotels that I have previously stayed in, but there were different hot options everyday. The front desk staff was helpful and kind. Other reviews have stated the entrance is a little deceiving, and it does seem like a side entrance when you come in, so that could be marked and made a little more clear. The pool looked nice, but we did not use it, and there were several grills available for use outside as well!

My dad, brother and I visited the Towneplace Suites for the Final Four. Being a hotelier I was shocked that when we checked in after check in time we did not have a room reserved who was a Platinum Elite member and 10 nights from a Lifetime was not even acknowledged or had a room ready. We were told they were busy from the night before. Breakfast was subpar but complimentary. This seems to be a new Hotel but our top drawer in our room pulled right out of the cabinetry when we were checking in. This Hotel is a great location but needs some polishing around the edges.

It's an decent property, but it's got a few minor problems. As others noticed, the walls are very thin, so if the neighbor is loud, you get to listen in. Breakfast starts later than most places (6:30 AM), so that may be an issue for business travelers. The studio suite is pretty small. There is no dining table, and only the desk chair, so think again if you plan on cooking dinner and eating in with a couple or a family if you get a studio. The included high speed internet is anything but "high speed", it is by far the slowest I have seen in the past year or two. No in room safe, or morning newspaper. Usual ugly carpeting and noisy hotel under window a/c unit (controlled by wall thermostat).

Perfect location in Goodyear and surrounding ballparks. Typically Marriott Property clean, broad choices of breakfast buffet, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Adrianna and Trinidad operate a very smooth and clean breakfast area; Felipa was our oh so attentive housekeeper and Robyn was capable and efficient at the front desk providing both information and the print out of our boarding passes.

TownePlace Suites appears to be a fairly new Marriott property located about 10 minutes from Goodyear Park. We stayed here to catch a recent Spring Training baseball game.
The room was well laid out. A kitchenette was in the entry (which is usually a bare wall) and made good use of the space. All of the appliances were new.
I liked the fact that the bathroom had a real door and you could enjoy a sense of privacy. There was plenty of drawers and shelves available throughout the room. This would make it ideal for an extended stay or a young family with a lot of toys.
WiFI worked fine. The fitness room was a bit small, but had new equipment. I missed not having a fan or a TV in the room (make sure you bring your tunes).
Breakfast included both hot and cold items. Scrambled eggs and sausage was typical.
The breakfast room has a few workspaces set up with power plugs. This would make it ideal if you plan to work remote and enjoy an abundance of natural light.
For the kids, they have a small pool. This pool is not large enough to do laps.

This Towneplace is a solid choice if you're staying in or near Goodyear. It's decently priced, nice rooms, friendly people. Nothing exciting to visit within the immediate vicinity, but is 15 minutes away from the usual tourist draws. My main issue was that my room smelled badly of wet dogs (they allow pets). I love pets but the smell was overwhelming, like when your dog plays in the dirt and mud and you don't bother to clean him. That's what my room smelled like. I had to leave the window open and fan on all night to get the odor out. Overall, the hotel itself is decent and worth a repeat visit.

As I've come to expect from a Marriott property. The hotel was clean, comfortable and courteous. I like the suites. They have the feel of a studio apartment more than a hotel room. It was located a block from the I10 which is convenient for travel thru central AZ.

Great place for family. We stayed on thanksgiving night on our drive back to California and watched football in our two queen room. It fit 5 of us for the game then we split up to our room. Nice mini kitchen with full fridge. Clean and good quality bedding. I'd stay here again.

Stayed at this location because hubby was given the NASCAR experience as a retirement gift. The suites are located right off the freeway but also a straight shot to the raceway.
Clean, comfortable rooms with all the amenities one expects from this chain. We really appreciate having our own small kitchen with the tools to use for meals. Included breakfast was okay, same items each morning, small sitting area inside. Really nice staff we had just come from Disneyland and actually found the staff at this hotel friendlier than the Disney staff!
There is shopping and a Costco not to far from this location which makes it a great location. Did not appreciate the smoking area being at the back (parking) entrance to the hotel though. Was nice enough to sit outside to eat but didn't want to sit in the smoking area. Did not appreciate the noisy neighbors who woke us up both mornings think the walls need more insulation.
Would return especially for NASCAR.
