We're right in between the Westgate Entertainment District and State Farm Stadium, an eight-minute walk to both. Loop 101 is a mile from us for quick access around Phoenix. Fill up on free breakfast before hitting the Tanger Outlets, also walkable, and cool off in our outdoor pool. We have board games and 24/7 coffee in the lobby, plus a fitness center.

We came for the Fiesta Bowl. Tru Hotel is walking distance to the State Farm Stadium, Water Dance Plaza, Tanger Outlets and Gila Arena. Arrival and check-in was smooth and Nadia checked on us a couple times though txt. My son forgot his toothbrush and we were given a complimentary one at the front desk. The rooms were clean and very well laid out with outlets and USB to charge devices. Our room was professionally cleaned by Sharri. Sharri was very happy and comfortable to talk to. I asked for extra towels she supplied us with extra ones. Breakfast was great. The fresh pancakes were fabulous, but took a while for the machine to make them. It would be nice if the was an option to get them out of a warmer that were pre-made. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were so just right to get a perfect night sleep. We would definitely stay here if we would ever returned. The hotel also has a mini store to purchase food and drinks. There is an outdoor pool and gas fire pit too.

We stayed here while we were apartment shopping. Daughter has taken a job with amazon in Goodyear so we wanted to see the area as well. Very easy access to highway and the parking is plentiful. Sack breakfast was provided as well as ice and cold water. Staff was very helpful when we asked questions. Rooms were super comfortable and spotless - very clean!! There is a desk, huge tv and great blinds in the rooms. They will change your towels and bedding when asked - this is due to Covid-19, otherwise hospitality is done daily. The have a pool table in lobby area as well as other seating.

We visited this hotel for one night for the Cardinals game. Thank you for the free snacks, water and some sanitizing wipes when I ask for it kudos to your front desk concierge. The room was pretty clean I was exceptionally impressed with the shower how white it was. I always wipe things down for my own safety. The only issue was one of the beds had stains! That's not acceptable. When housekeeping are making the beds and providing towels they should definitely pay close attention to stains and raggedy sheets.

Regardless of booking an advanced purchase to this location and checking-in via the hotel’s app, my reservation got cancelled without any notifications. Efforts to receive an accommodation was futile. I will not recommend this hotel if you are flying to Phoenix because if your flight gets cancelled, you will encounter trouble.

I’ve stayed with them before. All amenities were closed due to Covid then but the rates were still super high. Thin walls, didn’t get much sleep. Cold and sterile. Zero warmth from building or the humans.
Then, I was looking around online for august dates (when a concert would be nearby) and booked a “free cancellation” for said future date but they charged my card for today, causing me overdraft fees. Said it was because I had booked for last night (yet I’m working this weekend in Prescott so why would I? Even if accidental error, I should at very least get a credit for actual date stay) No response from customer service or anything.
Ive been working in hospitality for almost a decade. I’d never pull this with a guest. But a corporate conglomerate doesn’t care for the guests. Go somewhere else that actually cares about people and aren’t criminals. Support your smaller hospitality businesses.
For $340, I feel like I should’ve at least gotten the call back I was promised or a reply to my repeated emails. Don’t think that’s asking for much of a business that is literally meant to cater to guests. *eyeroll*

Positives: fast check-in, super clean rooms, easy parking.
Negatives: 1) Juan Carlos who checked in provide incorrect information about room location, unable to explain well how having Hilton Honors membership could benefit me. When I asked for clarifications, he got defensive and accusing me of giving him attitude. 2) Cold shower
Others: 1) The heater/air conditioner can blow right at you when sitting in the desk. 2) Good breakfast, fresh. Good selection.
Cold shower, coupled with bad attitude by Juan so I don't recommend it. I don't care how clean or good of the facility is, when a staff has a bad attitude, it's not a good sign nor should I recommend it.
It's unfortunately because I have appreciated the interior layout and consistency look and feel of Tru by Hilton.

We stayed there for the night of The Rolling Stones concert on 5/7/24. We payed an incredibly high rate, as all the hotels near the stadium jacked up their prices due to the concert. We chose the hotel as it’s walking distance to the stadium, but weren’t really sure that we would enjoy our stay considering some reviews of the hotel and the fact that they jacked up their prices. Surprise, surprise! We had a very enjoyable night at the Tru by Hilton. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were professional and friendly. Most of all, the hotel was very quiet despite being completely full. We would definitely consider staying there again, just not at that price.

The location is great! Literally everything else is sub-par. Tiny room with polyester linen on a rock hard mattress. Their website states they provide coffee and daily newspapers, but the only coffee is in the lobby and according to staff they've never had newspapers available. In my second floor room I got to listen to street racing and the adjacent freeway all night. This is my fourth stay in the past 6 months in a Hilton brand that was quite literally awful (there have been some good ones). The hallway is too narrow to pass a luggage cart by a maids cart and there's no fan in the bathroom. Did I mention no closet? I can't remember when I've stayed in a more basic room in any country. I should mention that the on-site staff was pleasant.

Some of the best customer service I have ever received at a hotel. Juan-Carlos was an extremely respectful and professional individual and didn't make small talk feel awkward or weird, it felt genuine coming from him. The room itself is a little small which could turn away some people but I prefer a smaller room so it was great for me. The area is great as well with many shops, restaurants, and fun activities to do. Electric charging is nearby if you have an electric car which was convenient for myself. Overall just a great experience from a hotel I booked last minute while I was on a road trip. I wasn't expecting too much but they truly exceeded my expectations by a lot.

Upon entering, the hotel is very clean and reception was easy to find and staff very friendly. When I got to my room, the cleaning product odor was SO STRONG it gave me a horrible headache and made my throat hurt! There is no way to air out the room- windows don’t open etc. The bedding, mattresses and decor extremely cheap looking. The tiny mini fridge was not cold enough to put a beverage in and there was no knob to adjust the temperature. The AC is a unit under the window- very noisy and the window shade was made of outdoor canvas material on a metal pull chain. The worst feature is there NO COFFEE MACHINE in the rooms! You can plan on getting dressed and walking to the lobby if you need a morning cup of coffee! I will not be staying at another Tru by Hilton - this is definitely a one and done!
