The hotel itself, especially the lobby, is amazing! The details are incredible. Make sure you get a ride in the elevator. We were on a very long road trip, so we were trying to keep costs down and opted for their cheaper room. We were told it was in the "historic" part of the hotel and hadn't been renovated. I...

The hotel has so much history! The marble stair case, the Tiffany glass mural, the welcoming lobby. However, the rooms need some work! We had a few rooms, a couple on the first level that were renovated, they were not too bad. The amenities need some work and the water pressure is horrible. Rooms above the 1st floor are sketchy...

I did not stay here and I am aware of the horror stories. The lobby, however is amazing to behold. It is monumental architecture and has authentic Tiffany sky view windows. The bar was pleasant and the property in general very clean. The border town of Douglas is evolving into a ghost town so see the Gadsden while you still...

We both loved this hotel. We had a remodeled king bed room, 101. It overlooked the beautiful lobby. The Tiffany glass mural is outstanding. Service at the Cafe Segovia was excellent and delicious. Can't say enough good things about this hotel, we were there for 2 nights and wanted to stay longer.

Gadsden Hotel opened in 1929 and its impressive lobby, with a mezzanine, is impressive. The rooms and bathrooms are small but the bed was comfortable and the shower was fine. It had an outdated cube TV and the desk clerk said they were having trouble with their Wi-Fi when I asked about a password. The Wi-Fi did not work for...

After Hotel Impossible visited this hotel a couple years ago the mezzanine rooms were all updated. They are listed as "deluxe" rooms. The rest of the rooms are still old, poorly maintained and apparently very low priority for housekeeping. We stayed 4 nights in a 3rd floor "historic" room. Paint and plaster were cracked. Mattresses were heavily stained, though covered...

First, I need to say we didn't spend the night. We drove down from Tucson because we read an article in the local paper that the Hotel was in danger of closing; it's up for sale and there are no takers. The paper's description was enough for us to make the 2hr drive and it was worth it! This is...

Stayed here for the first time in awhile. The lobby looked amazing! I have always loved this hotel and was very excited to see all the great changes. The room was beautiful, clean and I loved the high ceilings, the pillow top bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I will be back!

We stayed at this historic hotel one night in a King Jacuzzi room. It was clean and spacious. Although the A/C was a little loud, the room was very quiet. I would say the only thing that we experienced in our room was the low water pressure in the shower. It didn't have much water coming from the shower head....
