We had an excellent experience from checking in at the Tavern Grille, to dropping the keys in the box as we departed. The room was large and spotless. It is our second stay here, and the second time my wife and I talked about the great bed and pillows. They really are comfortable. Old Town Cottonwood is a great place...

This small, boutique hotel is a must if you're staying in this area! Very clean and cozy! Comfortable bedding, bathroom and shower with very nice soaps, shampoo etc. Just steps from the Tavern Grille and old town Cottonwood where you will find quaint shops and local winery tasting rooms. We will always stay in this hotel, when visiting this area!

Stayed two nights as a base for a photo workshop at Out of Africa Wildlife Park in nearby Camp Verde. Checking in at a restaurant was a first, but everything went smoothly and the staff was very friendly. We had a problem with wi-fi and an employee promptly followed up and let us know the issue was resolved. Good use...

This is definitely the ultimate place to stay when in Cottonwood. The hotel, which historically was not a tavern but a market the write-up said, was renovated in exquisite detail and with a great eye for comfort. The hotel is located in walking distance of all the cute shops and wine tasting (whiskey also) places, as well as great restaurants....

Finding this hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Downtown Cottonwood is such a neat place to be given all the restoration of the buildings the shops the restaurants and other improvements etc. This hotel is very contemporary very clean and has some very nice amenities. I would recommend it to anybody wanting to stay in downtown Cottonwood.

We stayed here with another couple for 2 nights on their wine and dine package. $150 a night, with a $50 voucher for dinner, $5.00 off Breakfast at La Crema across the street, and $2 off 4 wine tastings. We hadn't read the fine print and thought the 4 wine tastings were free, but we were fine with the nominal...

The service at the hotel was ‘5 star’, and the room felt like a 6 star hotel. The Tavern Bar/Grill was really popular and the food was fantastic. We were warned to only order if your really hungry due to food size/quantity. They were honest about that and the food was great. We spent 2 days and would go again,...

Very secure building located close to terrific restaurants, (several are part of the Haunted Group as is the Tavern Hotel and Grill) very friendly staff, great service and food. Close to shopping and for wine tasting. Parked the car and did not move it for two days, everything...

This was such a great choice! I did not want to leave. Wonderfully designed rooms with rich decor. Very safe, need key to enter building. Very peaceful and quiet. Awesome restaurant detached from hotel. I suggest having dinner there! Wineries are walking distance as well as antique shopping. This hotel is placed in the heart of downtown Cottonwood. The staff...

Ryan at The Tavern Hotel provided us with outstanding service-far beyond 5 Stars. We reserved the two bedroom penthouse. It was beautifully decorated with all that we could imagine and more. An absolute bargain considering it is a two bedroom with a lavish kitchen and spa bath. We shall return!
