Quiet location just outside of Wasilla. Spacious snd clean home. Beds were a little uncomfortable is my only knock on the place. Breakfast was phenomenal, the wife wins awards yearly at the state fair for her baking. Very scenic views from the home. Definitely recommend for B&B travelers!

I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the great review. I am sorry that the bed was uncomfortable but I don't know which bed you slept in .

We came across Hatcher Pass to the Parks Highway and stayed in this 'sleeper' of a B&B Hard to find but a great lakeside location and wonderful hosts. Peaceful and relaxing sitting on the patio watching for moose..other than the stuffed kind

First off, Jim is a hoot!. Fun and quirky, just like their home. Breakfast each day was awesome - moose, moose, and more moose! ;-) Loved the stories. Good place for our teenagers & wife & I to stay. Thanks for the great memories!

My brother and I visited Alaska for a fishing/hiking trip. We stayed the first two nights at the Alaskan Host B&B. The B&B is close to the highway and local state parks. Our room was comfortable and clean, and included a private shower and bathroom. Breakfast both mornings was delicious and plentiful. I noted that other guests with special dietary...

We had a nice stay here for four nights. It is a bit too far from Denali for a drive up and back, but we did that once. It is reasonably close to Talkeetna. The hosts were very friendly, and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The property has a nice walking trail and some small lakes. The room was...

This was a very nice place to stay. The guest rooms were decorated Alaskan and the Jim and Kathy were very nice, welcoming and helpful. We only booked one night but ended up staying 2 thanks to a cancellation they had. Beautiful view of a lake and trees, walking paths and away from town. Stayed on our way to and...

My husband, like another reviewer, looked at me askance about this selection. We've had hundreds of good stays because i look at reviews. I was mislead, in part, by the picture, which is of the property from the water, not the entry, and the price. We'd had the chance to stay a second night for ($50) less, but reviews led...

Before heading back to Anchorage we'd like to spent a night somewhere not too busy. Willow is on the way to the big city. Is pretty small town has only one pub/eatery nothing else around. So take some food and drinks This B&B is the only accommodation available in Willow no other place to stay in town that's why is...

We spent one night here and had a wonderful time. Kathy and Jim are great hosts. Jim has lots of fun stories and jokes that will have you laughing and shaking your head. The room was comfy and spacious for three of us. The next morning the breakfast was the best one of our trip. Kathy provided all kinds of...

We enjoyed our stay at Alaskan Host bar for 1 thing and that was the downstairs decor which was the stuffed animals that had been shot by the owner, some may like that sort of thing. We had the Polar Bear room which was nice but the bathroom is not ensuite, there's a large sitting room that looks over the lake, where you have...
