My husband & I and my mom spent 2 nights at Wild Roses by the Sea B&B and loved it! It is only a few minutes drive from the harbor and has a fabulous view! Rose was a gracious host and made a delicious breakfast. The day we checked out we had to be at the ferry early so Rose...

I have never written a review before but do consult trip advisor constantly when planning a trip. That being said, after reading all the "wonderful" reviews about this B&B, my husband and I booked one night in the king bedroom off the kitchen. You definitely feel like you are in someone's house as we heard the homeowner in the kitchen...

everything is already said in other reviews, so i can only say that we'll keep very good memories to our stay with Rose. she is really a very special person; a wonderful human being. We won't forget this soon! she takes care of her guests in a very personal and caring way. And, of course, the house is splendid! And...

The reason I can say this is not just because of the location, but also the hospitality. Rose has a beautiful home and makes great effort to keep her guests comfortable. Her cooking is amazing not to mention the niews out of any of the large windows in her home. From fresh fruits and nuts on the night table to...

Everything that has been written by the previous reviewers is all true. Rose is a wonderful hostess, she sent an e-mail months before we came with suggestions of places and things to see, not just in Valdez but also in the Copper River area which is where we were before arriving in Valdez. Rose keeps her home immaculate. Her house...

Valdez was the 4th stop on our Alaska road trip, and thanks to the recommendations from reviewers in Trip Advisor, I chose Wild Roses by the Sea for our 3 night stay - and we were not disappointed. My husband and I stayed in the Ocean View Guest House, which was clean and comfortable and had its own kitchen (which...

Just came back from 2 weeks vacation in Alaska, where I spent 2 nights in Valdez. Me and my wife travel a lot and often stay at B&B. Before I book any place I do a lot of research, so by selecting Wild Roses I kind of expected to be a nice place. I didn’t realize it was the BEST!...

Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated home with wonderful breakfasts and warm hospitality from the hostess, Rose. Little additional pieces of thoughtfulness were scattered everywhere throughout our stay. Even after our stay, as we sat at the airport, Rose ran up minutes before we were to take off, carryiing my cell phone charger and a bottle of water I'd mistakenly left behind....

At first I was a little nervous since there was miscommunication as to whether I had a reservation and Valdez was an EXTREMELY long drive from Anchorage but it was well worth it. Had it not been for the navigation system and Rose's handy dandy turn by turn directions, I wouldn't have know I reached my destination. Note: an SUV...

“We liked the downstairs apartment for its roominess, but Roses living room is a common area and it is very comfortable and inviting. Any room would be fine.”

“Three rooms have views of the Valdez narrows. Our room looked out to the canyon and the view of the rain forest was perfect. It was more spacious with a deluxe private bathroom.”
