We were on a Princess Sea and Land tour. This was a nice hotel and the grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed the room by the river and slept with our window open all night. There are restaurants and shopping across the street.

We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The accomodations were comfortable and more up to date than the Denali Princess Lodge, though the bathroom was very small.

Not sure when you are planning to go, however, the Mt. Mckinley Lodge is now closed for the season. This year they opened in May, not sure about next year. The shuttles run on on a daily basis to Talkeetna and back. There... More
