Lodge is similar to Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge in size and spread over a large area with a shuttle bus used to transport guests around. Our room was at the top complex (8) and we walked down the road but got the bus back up....More

Alaska is a special place to stay and if you want to have a Great feelings from here, definitelly need to stay at Great accomodations ... Would recommend this Lodge with perfect view to the mountains with Mont McKinley. Great rooms, little bit crowded, but...More

We had a second story room, no elevator where we were. A lot of walking though they had shuttles around the campus. Also a lot of hills. It was confusing at first where we were supposed to go, more so than for the other two...More

This was the second stop for us on the land portion of our cruise tour. The first being Denali Princess. Mt. McKinley lodge seemed a lot more spread out than Denali and that made for some walking, which wasn't bad, unless you have health issues...More

We caught the shuttle for free. I think it started at 1030 or1130 and I believe the last shuttle back was 530 or 730 that’s the best I can do but we had fun in talkeetna we went in September

Not sure when you are planning to go, however, the Mt. Mckinley Lodge is now closed for the season. This year they opened in May, not sure about next year. The shuttles run on on a daily basis to Talkeetna and back. There... More
