We recently came back from a couples trip celebrating our anniversaries and we were not disappointed! 6 nights in paradise. Check in was easy. We were given a tour of the resort prior to being driven to our rooms. We were also given a full overview of our overwater bungalow features as well. We really enjoyed the Bluetooth speakers throughout the room, including the outdoor terrace. The bungalow was modern and spacious and the views are incredible. Bora Bora is breathtaking. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Bikes came in handy to get around. Although you could also call for a pickup to drive you to dinner. They always came very quickly. Also, any time we asked for anything for our rooms, they were speedy. The pool is gorgeous. The pool cabana had water, Sunbum sunscreen, as well as aloe vera available. Pool drinks were pricey at $30 US dollars a piece, so we took advantage of Happy hour from 3 to 4 pm at half off drinks. The olives were a nice touch, too. The snorkeling right outside our bungalow was terrific with tons of fish and a spotted eagle ray that we saw almost every day! We brought our own snorkel (our preference), but used their flippers and life jackets for the week. Kayaks are available, and they had one paddle board. Breakfast was delicious. Hats off to the amazing pastry chef. The Chinese restaurant was closed, so the only options were Iriatai, which was delicious, Upa Upa for sushi and Tamure. Tamure was our least favorite, though the Polynesian dinner buffet show was fun. The food service staff was very friendly and attentive, as was all the staff in general. We had the breakfast and dinner package through Costco, thankfully as the meals were expensive. The alcohol in the rooms was also expensive. Over $100 for a half size bottle of Greygoose. Better off taking the boat into town to buy alcohol and snacks. Or better yet, buy it at LAX or Papeete airport. The hotel arranged our excursion, swimming with sharks and stingrays, and coral gardens with fish, which was amazing! A highlight for us. 10 out of 10! Overall an amazing experience! Mauruuru Conrad Bora Bora!

Hotel's Favourite
My wife & I stayed at Conrad Bora Bora Nui for 3 nights & it the best resort/hotel we have ever stayed at! From the outset we were warmly welcomed. We were given a personal tour of the whole resort & shown to our OWB, which was ready early for us. We were shown how all the lights & switches work within the OWB, and the services that were going to be provided which was helpful. We thought this was a very nice touch & something we had not experienced before. The OWB itself was immaculate. Everything about it has a luxurious feel. From the bathtub to the Bluetooth speakers that covered all areas of the OWB (including the terrace outside our OWB!). The view of the sea from our OWB was stunning & very tranquil. The resort itself was well landscaped & maintained the tropical paradise feel. The viewpoint at the top of the resort of Mount Otemanu was amazing! Even though the resort had a lot of visitors, it always maintained that secluded, non busy feel. The restaurants were great! Good food & a great service. A special mention to the patisserie chef(s) at breakfast time. They produced different patisseries each morning we were there & they not only looked exquisite they tasted delicious. We could not ask for more regarding the facilities provided. Free kayaks, paddle boards available to name a few. The corals & reefs on resort were vibrant & full of life all over the resort. My wife & I spent many hours snorkelling with the sea life. We didn’t even have to leave the area around our OWB to experience it. I would highly recommend Conrad Bora Bora Nui if visiting Bora Bora. We hope to visit again someday.

Oh, where to start!!! We have never been treated so well & in the most beautiful place we have visited. We were greeted by Zuzana, the Assistant Manager of Guest Relations & discovered that she had upgraded us from a standard over-the-water bungalow to one that also had a private plunge pool with a beautiful view. Zuzana knew we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary & kept surprising us with gifts. When she finished our private tour of the resort, she took us to our O-T-W bungalow & to our surprise she had printed, laminated & place pictures of us on the bed along with towel swans, flowers & also a chilled bottle of wine & candy. WOW!! Zuzana kept having our bed decorated & leaving gifts for us during our entire stay. She also made sure she saw us every day of our stay just to make sure everything was perfect, with no complaints. Zuzana, along with every staff member we came in contact with made this a truly magical vacation. The resort is absolutely gorgeous. The bungalow was over 1,200 sq. ft., the resort pool was large and sparkling clean, food at the restaurants was delish, beautifully presented & the staff always smiled, called you by name & very attentive. We visited during the rainy season & to our surprise we lucked out with very little rain. We went on 2 excursions that the resort recommended & booked for us; a full day snorkeling, swimming with rays, sharks & then an authentic lunch on a private island; a half day jeep tour of Bora Bora that went 650 ft. up a mountain to the most spectacular view of the island & the surrounding area. Both excursions were wonderful. By now your probably thinking that I'm easy to please. I'm not & do complain a lot. At the CONRAD BORA BORA there was nothing to complain about except it was an exceptionally hot week, but the resort can't control mother nature. We would definitely return without hesitation! FYI - I'm still pinching myself to see if I was dreaming.

From the start, our visit to the Conrad was amazing. We were having an amazing vacation so far having just visited Moorea. This hotel blew it out of the water. The staff are gracious, welcoming, and professional. The restaurant manager at the steakhouse named Claudia went over and above for us on several occasions. This included having a special cake made for our friend that was celebrating her birthday on the trip. Our hotel guide Laurence and his colleague were also fantastic and took good care of us. They made sure we were signed up for the excursions and services we wished to have upon our arrival. The manager of the breakfast restaurant and her staff were wonderful. The breakfasts were by far the best I've had, period. Everything was excellent but the pastries really steal the show. The service there is extraordinary. We also enjoyed the pool bar. The drinks and food are delicious. The staff are fun to interact with and they seem to be having a good time too. I unfortunately can't remember the name of everyone who is deserving of praise here, but we didn't have a negative interaction with anyone. The hotel staff is the best. They take pains to ensure that the grounds are manicured and clean. The housekeeping staff are thoughtful and meticulous. Those that handled our luggage and gave us rides when we needed it are organized and efficient. We went on jet ski and snorkelling excursions arranged by the hotel. We had beautiful weather for both and they were amazing experiences. We also took the boat to Vaitape to do some shopping and see a bit of the culture. The shops in town offer many of the same items you can get in resort and airport gift shops for a better price and more selection. I recommend renting a scooter to see more of the island and just have fun riding it. We got ours from Avis as it's right where you get off the boat. Overall I can't say enough about how great our adventure in Bora Bora was. I hope to return soon!

This was my 5th stay at this beautiful resort in Bora Bora, and my absolute best visit! From the moment you arrive you are treated like a guest, not just a customer. Being a Diamond Member, and dedicated Hilton Member, you feel valued and appreciated so much here. From upgrades, extra touches and being able to reach out and text with a resort concierge are appreciated when staying here at the Conrad. The rooms are recently renovated, and the property is immaculate. The turn down service was something I looked forward to every night! Special gifts and incense were great things to come back to your room and enjoy , were highlights every day. My guest host Lawerence went above and beyond to make my stay extra special, and manager Abdoulaye Sarr was so kind to make sure my stay was perfect, which it was! Abdoulaye is a great representation of the excellent quality and service you will receive at this resort. My OWB was so incredible it was hard to ever want to leave my room! But there are so many things to discover on this beautiful property, bicycling, kayaking, paddle boarding , snorkeling , ( all included for free!) , and swimming with the fish in the stunning blue water is something you can’t miss. The Spa! Is something you must treat yourself to during your visit to the Conrad. It has stunning views, beautiful treatment rooms, one outside with an incredible massage table over looking the resort. The staff here is so professional and will make your spa visit one you will remember forever! I will never forget mine! I caught the friday night polynesian show and it’s something you must do while you are here. The seafood alone at the buffet is worth it. The Polynesian dancers are so good, and they have wonderful local music they play during the whole dinner and show. The only feedback I can include a few more restaurant choices would be nice when staying here for multiple days, unfortunately one of the restaurants was closed during my stay because of remodeling and being the slow season which should not reflect on guests experiences and food options. I will come back again, and again to this wonderful resort. I travel for a living and picking this special place to spend my vacation every year is saying a lot! The Conrad Bora Bora should be your choice of all the resorts here!

If you are thinking to go to Bora Bora in January, or anytime during the slow season, BOOK your flight! The weather is beautiful, if it rains, it will pass in 30 minutes! The pictures you see on the internet do not justify it’s beauty! The staff is Amazing! Anne, one of the hosts was super attentive to all our needs! The employees that work at the pool and beach were so friendly and thoughtful, I fell asleep one day with the umbrella closed, Oliver set if up so we don’t get burned! Aria in the breakfast made the best crepes and was so lovely! The food was the prettiest and most delicious food I ever had! Must go to the steakhouse! The SPA has the best view. I had nothing planned prior, so the concierge recommended and helped us book ATVs, Motu Tapu, and Snorkeling!- the most beautiful Blue’s you’ll ever see! Thank you for your Hospitality! I hope to be back soon!

What can I say about the best hotel I have every stayed at! This was truly a memorable experience, and my families all time favorite vacation. We stayed at an over the water bungalow, and it was fantastic! What made this resort so special were the staff. EVERYONE was friendly, courteous, and dedicated to excellence. Most of all the General Manager was incredible. He was completely hands on. From greeting you when you first arrived, to waving good bye when you leave. He was EVERYWHERE. In the morning, he would greet guest at breakfast, later you would see him mingling at the pool. For lunch, he would visit the restaurant, and finally he would do turns at all the restaurants in the evening. He was extremely friendly, and was 100% committed to guests satisfaction. The only negative experience that I had was the Chinese restaurant. The food was average, but the service was not up to par. We arrived early for our 7 pm reservations and were promptly seated. My kids didn't get their main course until 8:45 pm - after the adults finished their food! We stayed at the Conrad Bora Bora for 5 nights, and can't wait to go back.

First thing to know is this resort, with the exception of a handful of premium overwater bungalows, faces out toward the ocean. For most guests, the only way you will see Mt. Otemanu from here will be to hike up to the lookout point by the spa (and you definitely should do this as the view is amazing). We were recognized as hilton diamond members and received excellent benefits including a one level room upgrade, free breakfast, and late 4pm checkout. All of which was great. Food is very expensive out here, so to have access to such an amazing breakfast buffet for free was really nice. They had amazing croissants, poisson cru, samosas, fruit, and even ipo coco on the buffet. Breakfast service was always great. The beach here is big and beautiful with fine, powder white sand. This is an incredible rarity in the society islands, where usually the best you can hope for is a narrow band of sand composed mostly of broken coral bits. Similarly, the beach has areas where there’s a sandy bottom not necessitating reef shoes (but still pack them!). Another rarity in these parts. Still, the beaches here remain largely deserted and I can’t help but think that’s in large part due to the fact that most views from the beach are directly obstructed by bungalows. I don’t mean there’s bungalows merely in the frame of view, but rather most of the beach views are obstructed by bungalows that are arranged immediately offshore and completely parallel to the beach itself. So with the exception of some select sections of beach, the feeling at most of the expansive shoreline is one of being boxed in by bungalows. It’s a strange design that downplays the uniqueness of the incredible beach here. If you look at other Bora Bora resorts, their design is generally done to allow more open views from their recreational shorelines. This is not an issue if you have an owb and stay there all day. But this resort has numerous land villas too, and this issue impacts those people looking to get some beach time in. Snorkeling here in terms of coral and fish life is among the best I’ve seen at a hotel. The coral growth projects near Upa Upa are amazing, and there ample to be seen underwater throughout the expansive property. The increased life comes at the expense of water clarity. The position of the island in the lagoon tends to lead to some (not strong) current sweeping along the length of the resort from left to right (if standing on beach looking out to sea). This feeds and nurtures the coral and fish, but it does churn up some of the aforementioned very fine sand, leaving you with ok, but not great visibility. I particularly recommend snorkeling off of the westward facing sunset villas located on the far side of the man-made island at the west end of the resort. Service was hit or miss. Our personal concierge/butler for example, was often very quick to direct us vs doing it himself. In one instance he actually did indicate he would do something for us, which was to reserve seats on the shuttle to town. Two hours later, he pinged us back saying there was no room. Fortunately, because we’d already begun to doubt this person’s efficacy, we had physically gone to the dock and successfully added ourselves to the boat that we wanted after waiting an hour to hear back from our butler on the matter. I think our butler issues were unique, as I was impressed with the proactivity of the other butlers to help us who weren’t even assigned to us. Pool bar ladies could also use an attitude adjustment. I asked them what the discount was for “golden hour” (which is what “happy hour” from 3-4 is called here). And I received a range of answers from not knowing to “the boss doesn’t tell us” before one finally and rather dismissively produced a special menu which listed the available specials. Not five star service, to be sure. Another gripe is we went to a new year’s eve buffet for like $350 a person, which had a very impressive spread. When you show up to your table, there’s already a bottle of water on it, and there’s no other water or drinks on offer at the buffet. So, we drank the water. Come to find out, and very much after the fact, that water was ten bucks! To me, that was just a classless cheap shot. Made worse by the fact that water and even juices are included at the breakfast buffet, but at a $350 high-end new year’s dinner buffet they have to resort to this kind of nickel and dining for a glass of water?! Low class cheap shot. New year’s eve fireworks were impressive. I didn’t expect much given the location and logistical and cost challenges, but it was a heck of a private show. Wi-fi in room was good. Got spotty on beach areas, even on the diamond member’s beach. Appreciated the free provision of sunscreen and aloe from the beach huts. Very nice. May be good to add mosquito repellent as an offering because when the wind dies down, those skeeters came out. Loved the food, service and atmosphere at Upa Upa, and we loved the local musicians and fire dancers. Truly first rate entertainment. Not all ice machines were functional, but I found one down near the presidential villas in great working condition so there’s a pro tip for you. Resort could use more frequent complimentary shuttles to town. As is, they were few, and depending on which one you took you’d be waiting at list 2.5 hours to be able to come back, or up to 4 hours. One shouldnt have to kill that much daylight in order to do some light shopping. A note on decor: The rooms and public areas are all very nice and upscale, but they don’t go far to pitch the feeling of being in polynesia. Having stayed at other resorts in bora bora and FP, many will feature thatched roofs visible from inside and other bold and distinctive polynesian elements. You don’t get as much decor or architectural wise to remind you that you’re in polynesia here. That’ll be a plus to some, a minus for others. Flowers: Coming to bora bora in the rainy season, we thought we’d see all manner of tropical flowers on the grounds. There were some, but the presence was sparse compared to expectation. Most flowers seemed to be concentrated at the far eastern end of the resort, either near the spa or the toward the employee only area around the bend. Weather: 10/10. It only rained all day one day. The rest of the time we had beautiful days with rain at night. We lucked out for the time of year. Overall it was a good stay. I’d probably return.

Pros: A spectacularly beautiful resort with a gorgeous pool in a stunning setting. It is more cost effective probably than a couple of other resorts in bora bora. Also seems to be more recently renovated than its more expensive neighbors. The hotel staff were super nice and accommodating Cons: the service at the restaurants/ bars was not good for the most part. The food was not good either. Multiple times our steak and burgers came either undercooked or burnt, which made it not edible.

We loved it. Service and facility was great and modern. Rooms were fully equipped with what we needed and got housekeeping twice a day. I loved the Bluetooth capability. Food can be expensive if you dont get the breakfast/dinner package. I would definitely recommend that since there are limited options on Bora Bora Island.
