Nothing to complain about! Great hotel, very friendly staff, excellent food and worldclass diving! Also the landtour half day was very interesting and shows the beauty of the island and its culture. And the mantas on every dive were just magical!

I was in Yap for a short business trip that was extended when Typhoon Noul hit the island and shut down the airport for a couple days. The staff at Manta Ray did an exceptional job of keeping the guests safe, comfortable and well-fed despite the typhoon.

I had a great stay at the Manta Ray Bay Resort. I was there for almost two weeks and enjoyed every moment. I was well cared for by the hotel staff, restaurant staff, as well as the dive guides. The hotel rooms were clean neat and maintained. The food was MARVELOUS and the dinning accommodations unique and fun. Eating on...

The Manta Ray is the best place to stay - the staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and well appointed complete with a towel on your bed shaped like a manta ray! The food is delicious - eating on the Mnuw is special - they are the only restaurant in Micronesia that cooks your fish just right....

There are very limited flights in and out of Yap. So why would you just not include the "half day" as part of the package? We left the hotel at 10pm, but check out was at noon. So there was an extra $60 a person. We were told we were on the highest meal plans for three meals a day....

We traveled with a large group, 17 specifically. So everyone had different expectations, mine were not as high as others. Tropical island to me means diving, sun and drinks, so I was pleasantly surprised by our large lovely rooms and quite happy with the resort. Others in our group were a little disappointed. So we will say 3.5 out of...

I have stayed at this hotel twice now while in Yap. It is very nice and I would argue the best complete package in Yap. The rooms are nice and to western standards. The AC is strong in the rooms and they have done a nice job creating unique cultural accents to the room. The dive shop is very good...

I have been to Yap twice, staying at the Manta Ray Bay Hotel both times. It is not a luxury hotel, but is clean, pleasant, and has a most helpful staff. The diving operation is top-notch. During my first visit I happened to be there during "Yap Days", a most colorful and interesting event in which the islanders celebrate their...

We stayed here on a trip to Palau. Excellent accommodations and we saw plenty of mantas. Definately - a must stop for divers. The hotel spa was a surprise! My wife and I both enjoyed our couple's massage.

This is an unusual review. We were booked at the Manta Ray for three nights including meals and snorkeling guide and boat. A typhoon caused our flight from Guam to be cancelled and we never got there. This "review" is simply to note that not one penny was refunded on the prepaid stay. We understand that the resort was harmed...
