This was such a delight. To the casual eye this property might seem a little dated, but the delightful amenities, the serene and lush back courtyard space and all the in-room amenities you could want made it such a true delight. We loved this space so much that we changed our plans and ended up booking extra time there. Coming...

Great location across the road from the beach (but no views) and all was neat and tidy. And how quietly welcoming and friendly is Jan! Yes, property is dated, but also has many little touches that made the unit feel more comfortable. Nice to have both a front door and back door with tables and chairs outside both. Bonus was...

I have been coming here for many years at least once a year and it still has that charm and that clean fresh modern touch to it. Its not dated, considering its timber interior. Top it off its situated near the shops and across from the Beach. I think it's the Best Motel in Orewa.

Chose OML as it was very central to shops and restaurants thus saving my poor old bad back! The welcome from Jan was perfect; friendly informative and helpful. We bagged the last unit so were lucky to get in. Room v comfortable , with an outside table and chairs to catch the afternoon sun. Good queen size bed, v clean...

I visited this wonderful place last year at the start of January and this year at the start of January on my annual trip to New Zealand. Jan the owner was incredibly welcoming compared to the previous owners. She sometimes talks to us trying to be friendly etc. Even the cleaners that are there at 10 am are kind and...

This Motel is very welcoming.. Jan Goes beyond her work.. As a business owner myself.. I would like to say she deserves a Pay- rise ! Smiles.. The bed I had,, the mattress felt old.. It needs replacing.. The Sofa also needs replacing.. Springs have gone.. There was a loud noise..at one say.. then you sat lop-sided,, not good for...

This motel is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The motel itself is a bit dated but has everything needed for a self contained stay. It is also very close to restaurants, bars and shops. Would highly recommend as Jan is so nice and helpful

Just stayed one night at OML as a stop off to Paihia. If you love pine you'll love the place. The welcome was warm and hassle free and the parking was right outside the unit. We had a studio unit which was compact but functional. The bathroom and shower was quite small too but everything worked fine. The location couldn't...

We arrived at 8:55pm as they were closing, having nowhere booked and the wonderful lady on the counter made us feel instantly comfortable and welcome. Truly exceptional service all around. We will make a point of returning there purely because such warm encounters are rare and should be rewarded.

Stayed for one night. Perfect location in the middle of the town but surprisingly quiet. Nice welcome. Rooms are in some kind of chalets which are rather large but divided by multiple walls making each space a bit cramped. Beds not that good, too soft. One window not closing. Not a bad night but might not choose this place again...
