This is our 3rd time staying at the Motorlodge. Very satisfied staying in room 20. Quiet, clean, great heating and overlooks trees. We enjoyed the spa which was kept around 39-40 degrees. We're familiar with the temperatures at the old Mount Maunganui hot pool and like a spa with real heat. Room has cooking facilities. We cooked a full steak...

Very slightly out of town these basic but nice rooms are perfect for a stopover. The staff are very very nice and the facilities really good (spa pool, laundry, kitchen). If you need help planning your trip you can rely on the owners to go out of their way to help you, even letting me use their computer and phone...

Was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms very tidy and spa pool was awsome. Staff even did dishes when not expected of them. Will visit again. Linnen was changed every day. Very tidy grounds and quiet from road noise

We stayed at this motel for 1 night in a room that sleeps 4 people. We asked for a room with a spa. Whilst there is a large one outside we got a large spa bath in the bathroom. Kitchen is fully appointed. We had a view of the mountain (volcano) from our window, which still had snow on it's...

We stayed in a 4 bed dorm room at this lodge and were very happy with everything. Room was tidy and dry, The hot pool is perfect after a day on the mountain and the dry room was a huge help that I hadnt even considered. Would definitely stay again.

The suite was spacious & the kitchenette was very useful. We stayed x4 nights at the off peak rate $140. We would stay here again, and recommend to others. The bed was comfortable, more comfortable than some expensive hotels we have stayed in recently. We both enjoyed our stay at the Hobbit! :)

Arrived at around 9pm and had booked a 2 bed room dorm for myself and my friend. Very tiny room.Lots of dust everywhere. Not vacuumed well. MOLD ON THE CURTAINS! We had booked multiple nights but left in the morning and went to Station Lodge (Highly recommend).Service was ok and could have been better.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that the room was not up to your expectations. We have had hundreds of guests through our dormitories this winter and we have had very good feedback from them on departure. May we respectfully suggest that if you have an issue that you approach the Managers to see if it can be...

Charming motor Lodge for the family to spend the weekend. Nothing flash but sufficient for our needs. WiFi and spa available. Close to town and ski slopes. Friendly and helpful staff. We booked in early and settled in our family room before hitting the slopes.

Comfortable and clean with fantastic service. Arriving late the room was heated on a freezing night that was brilliant. However in the morning we noticed it didn't have a kitchen and wasn't to our liking. The managers bent over backwards to accommodate us. Spa bath large space good sized main bedroom. Now this was a lot extra but was worth...

We stayed here for a long weekend. It was very quite and relaxing. Comfortable well equipped units and warm. It had easy access to town. The owners were very accommodating by offering to store all of our bicycles in their garage. We would most likely stay here again. Thank you.
