Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Love staying here despite the noise love being in the centre of everything and that you don’t have to move. Nice rooms well laid out and super keen. Really nice reception staff who go out of there way to be helpful

This is where we usually stay. Great hotel and restaurant have an authentic Alps feel. Rooms are decent and clean. Hotel's design means that room noise from above can be loud! As can train noise. So get a top floor room away from train side.

Such a warm welcoming place to stay! The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you from the time you arrive. The rooms were so warm and comfortable and had everything you needed. The Matterhorn Restaurant was divine - had the best Ravioli I have EVER had in my life! Enjoyed a glass of wine first around the fireplace before dinner. Also enjoyed a lovely soak in the hot pool where you can order a glass of wine or other beverages - divine!!

We only intended on staying one night....but it just wasn't enough. We got in before the crazy ski season started in June 18 and we loved it. So what we needed. Beautiful accommodation, warm, friendly, bar was AH-Mazing and the food was too. We will definitely be back and probably bring some friends. We just loved this place. It ticked all our boxes and some..!!!

We stayed two nights during the school holidays. Loved the hotel - very cozy and welcoming. Loved the service - one of the best service levels I’ve come across. Well done team. Loved the heated pool - just what you need after a long day. The room itself was warm, spacious, well equipped, and clean. Couldn’t fault it. The on-site restaurant is great too. Only negative is the potential for noise owing to the architecture but it didn’t bother me nor were we disturbed.

After a long drive this was the ideal destination to arrive at. The room was well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. The staff friendly and helpful. The Front Desk Manager, Sarah, needs a special mention for the assistance she provided. Very attentive and friendly.

I have travelled all over the world and this hotel is just perfect. You would be hard pressed to find fault with anything. The place us stunningly beautiful with its olde worlde charm and delightful decor. The staff are professional, courteous and eager to be of service, full of natural smiles and a delight to deal with. The food is top quality and very reasonably priced and served quickly. The bed is the best I have ever slept in and the complimentary toiletries were of a super quality. Highly recommended ..

The service provided here is very good and you will be served with a smile. For weary travelers such as ourselves after a very long hike, we were immediately advised of the hot pool which was a great touch. The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities that one would need. Laundry facilities are very good and leave clothes in perfect shape. The only thing I would like to note is that walls are paper thin and you can hear every word said in the room next to you and a lot of noise from water taps.

This accommodation was booked as part of a bespoke family holiday, so we never quite new what we were getting until we got there. We booked in at reception, which was all very pleasant and left the usual credit card swipe against purchases. We were then given the key to a chalet that wasn’t on the main hotel complex but a short distance away by car. We drove around to it and found we were in a small cul de sac with a few houses. Our accommodation was at the top in a shared drive. Once in the drive we unpacked the bag and went into the property. It consisted of a downstairs lounge/diner/kitchen, a twin room leading to a utility room with a washer and drier, two further double rooms a bathroom with a bath and separate shower and a shower room. It was fully stocked with all the

Cheery and welcoming check in by Sarah set us up for two wonderful nights Room was spacious with a nice private balcony Bathroom good with a nice range of toiletries After a long drive really enjoyed the pool, which we had to ourselves, and the added bonus of drinks being delivered poolside As we’d booked on a package we had a bottle of wine and $50 bar credit Restaurant was quiet but had a pleasant ambience Wait staff were friendly and efficient Food excellent - steak tender and cooked as requested, lamb special equally excellent Breakfast was a surprise with a self serve continental and choice of a la carte options The smoked salmon eggs Benedict came with chunks of house smoke salmon Would be a great venue in the ski season with what I’m sure would be an amazing ambience
