Room confortable (the bed was a little bit hard), quality breakfast, very nice garden with a wonderful landscape direct in front of ancient Likya tombs. The owner was very kind and helpful. The dinner was delicious. We did not live any problem.

We have used this hotel several times when visiting the Dalyan area to go to the mud baths and it is of a consistently good standard. The location is excellent, down a quiet road and right on the water front, overlooking the rock tombs. This time we visited with family, including our 4yr old grand daughter. The proprietors were friendly...

My wife and I have extensively travelled together for three decades, including many trips to Europe. We have stayed at fine hotels on occasion and camped on the beach. We love Happy Caretta because it represents for us what we most seek when we travel: beauty, wonder, great food, peace and ease. Happy Caretta is owned by a lovely family...

You will sit right in front of the spectaclar Lycian Kings' Tombs while tasting one of the delicious fresh fish plates cooked by Mrs Ilknur, that manages, along with her husband, daughter and the staff, this very nice hotel in Dalyan. It is conveniently locatel right on the river where you can take one of the boats heading to the...

When we arrived to Dalyan we used our GPS to find the hotel. Unfortunately it took us through the main part of town which is blocked off to cars. Finally we found the street and you have to look well to find the hotel. There's not much there in the front. But once you get inside it's like the Garden...

Stayed two days here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend. We absolutely loved it. The hotel is situated right on the river with views overlooking the tombs in the cliff. Since we went in the very beginning of tourist season the tombs were not lit up at night, but I imagine in the summer its even more beautiful. Breakfast...

My friend and I spent 8 days at Dalyan's Happy Caretta Hotel. The family running the hotel is most pleasant, warm and generous. We fell in love with the whole family, the garden, the dogs, the birds, the river, the view. This trip was for fun and rejuvenation and we got everything we needed there and more. The food is...

Happy Caretta is a small family run hotel at the Dalyan river. The rooms are clean, but very small and without a balcony. The staff is very friendly, breakfast and dinner are delicious. Most of all we liked the outside area with a nice garden, several comfortable sitting areas and the superb location right on the riverside. The boats going...

We stayed here as a family for two nights and regretted it. The location is very nice right on the river; the family who own the hotel are nice people and the garden is pretty. But the rooms are very small and ugly (bathrooms are left in the 1980s), air conditioning does not work (terrible on an august night) and...
