Located at the end of a gang (cul-de-sac) that runs off the popular Batu Bolong, our only immediate neighbours are rice fields and banana trees, bamboo and a running stream. It’s Peaceful out here, but not to worry if you’re chasing tasty food or good night life, great surf or even better coffee all these things are within minutes of The Farm.

The staff & volunteers was incredibly welcoming and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure that I can stay like my home. The common areas were inviting and well-maintained, providing a perfect space to relax and socialize with other travelers.

I can confidently say that The Farm Hostel is among the best in Canggu. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the amenities provided, including the comfortable beds and thoughtful activities every night.

Overall, I would highly recommend The Farm Hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Canggu. Thank you for your excellent hospitality and for making my trip a truly memorable one.

Came to the Farm during my first time solo traveling and it instantly became my my second home. Not only are the rooms and amenities spacious, clean, and great quality, but the vibe and atmosphere of the hostel is the perfect mix of social and chill that encourages meeting new people and located in a great spot in Canggu. Additionally, what makes this hostel unique is the incredible staff ❤️❤️ each person is so warm and welcoming and I would consider them all friends now 🥰 miss this place dearly and could not recommend it enough. Excited to go back!

The Farm was one of my favourite places i stayed. Everyone was instantly friendly and they put on great extras like free sangrias in the common area so everyone can socialise and free transport to the best bars and clubs with vip access!
The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. It felt safe and everyone was super nice and helpful.
For some (brilliant) reason everyone there was truly fascinating and i made many great friends. If you want to go damcing the Old Man (ignore the name) is an awesome night out and feels llike a festival!
I would go here again in a heartbeat.

Extremely clicky ! The only thing going on in this hostel is people getting drunk. Music on all day. There was a poisonous snake found in our bathroom so I decided to check out on that day and I wasn’t offered a refund or a different room. The bathrooms are outside jungle showers so attract these animals If you want to do more than get drunk best to avoid this place

I stayed in this hostel 23rd-27th March 2023. I am a solo female traveller who is travelling for a year.

I booked this hostel because it was extremely well rated and looked like a mix between partying and relaxation. When I arrived the staff are happy and make you feel welcome. My review is not based on the staff (bar reception) as they were very approachable.

I stayed in a 8 bed mixed dorm, whereby there was myself, two girls travelling together who were lovely and a group of 5 on holiday. The group were unwelcoming and disrespectful; most of them made me feel anxious and I dreaded going back to the room.
They would laugh when I asked them to be quiet (in a respectful way) and do passive aggressive things such as placing an item on my bed (when my curtains were closed) .The only thing that prevented my from checking out was being on a travelling budget and making sure I was busy during the day and evenings so I did not need to spend much time in the hostel.

On check out I explained to the staff that my experience was not a positive one due to a large group being able to stay in the room. I felt that this prevented me meeting likeminded solo travellers which is a shame as the facilities are really nice at this hostel.

When writing a review on hostel world, the hostel had ‘cancelled’ my booking even though I stayed the full duration of the trip. As I had complained the impression I got was they didn’t want me to write negative feedback.

A fun environment/ cute common area, but loud music is constantly playing all over the hostel (no quiet space at all) and the cleaning staff was rude and not mindful of privacy. The drink I ordered at the bar tasted like chemicals and I couldn’t have more than a sip. The bathrooms for the dorms are outdoor where it is very buggy, and the mattresses are very poor quality with only a threadbare blanket - would not recommend and will not return.

One of the best hostel ! The owner is really nice , he took care about you with his amazing staff.
You’ve got a really cool pool, you can just rent a scooter at the entry. And one of the best point you’re so close to everything bars, restaurants, beaches ! Such an amazing place go for it !

The only reason I gave this place a 2/5 is because they gave us a refund upon arrival. We booked a full room 6 female ensuite and were separated when we checked in. The manager (jordan) seemed way to “chill” about the situation as he was blowing vape clouds in our face the entire time. We agreed to stay one night as we could not book an Airbnb for the night. After getting back from the bars we decided to order some food. One of the girls that work here (she’s on crutches because she stepped on an ashtray) asked us 10 times to order a burger for her. This was extremely uncomfortable for the group as we are backpackers and are limited on money. We had to tell her we could not afford her burger and she crutched off to bed. Extremely unprofessional. Please hire a better team.
